My Congo African Grey didn't chew the wood up like she normally would with a chew toy. Instead, she was attracted to the small metal links which attached all of the pieces together. She opened the links one by one causing the pieces to fall to the bottom tray of her playstand. When I noticed she was doing this, I was fearful that she may swallow some of those links, so I took the entire toy and all of the metal pieces away from her. I looked for signs of her choking or having difficulty breathing, but didn't see any; so I thought that we were safe and that she hadn't actually eaten any of them. Apparently not so! She died unexpectedly a week later. There were no signs of any injury, and I later remembered that she was chewing on all of those metal pieces. She was barely 11 months old, and I miss her more than I can say.

While it is a very nice toy, my Macaw tore it apart in about 2 hours. This is much better suited for birds smaller than an African Grey. Of course I did see it when I opened the box and it was my decision to give it to JJ. Ultimately he did have fun for a couple of hours. would like to say that PAMAGO was wonderful to deal with and they have offered compensation for the toy. Wonderful customer service!

This toy was not meant for a larger bird. I originally purchased based on the picture as I was looking for a toy for my cockatoo umbrella. I ended up giving the toy to my amazon. I would have to say it is a good toy for a medium size bird but a little pricey for the size of the toy and the size of the wood pieces.

I am very pleased with PAMAGOO. Delivery was quick and Pepper loved the toy! The first thing she destroyed were the balls at the top of the toy and it didn't take her long. Next she started on the snow flake. I had to take the rest of the toy and hang it from the cage without the snowflake. She still enjoys it though. Thank you PAMAGOO.

The toy is very colorful and I thought it would be perfect for my 28 yr old African Grey. He destroyed it in 30 minutes. I think I need to buy toys for Macaws.

I have a bird that lives to destroy toys and he just had quite a time disintegrating it. He loves chains and threads them througg the elements. Well constructed and worth the money.

Christmas gift for Leonard, The African Gray Terminator, which he received on Christmas Eve day. By the following evening, it was gone - with the exception of the snowflake on top, which he saved until the following morning. It was gone long before before noon.Leonard gave it five stars for "ease of complete destruction".I'm giving it only three..... because of the same reason. That was just a little *too* quick, even for Leonard. Especially when you consider the fact that it was night time and he was asleep during several hours of his possession of this toy. I'm going to have to take out a second mortgage to pay for his parrot toys. He even managed to fairly quickly wreck one that I paid over fifty bucks for that weighed close to what *I* do! I'm currently searching for a toy made of cast iron. Pray for me..... please.

I purchased this for my medium sized African grey parrot. He enjoyed it and chewed it up completely in a couple of hours. A large parrot would destroy this toy in 15 minutes.
