Used the 2 pin version with a matching Y to tap a cell phone charger into my ebike 12v headlight. The only hitch turned out to be the polarity had to be reversed to work. I'm not downrating this product for that because it seems most likely the reversal was in the bike and not the cable.

So glad pigtails like this are easily available here on Amazon. So many of these ebikes use specialized wiring harnesses that just are not worth the money/time to replace with new. In my case I picked up a cheap Jasion bike and it had bent pins in 2 of the 10 connectors. I fixed one but broke the pin on the other, this tail made it easy to chop it and replace with the exactly correct connector. I use liquid electrical tape and heat shrink tube to make a seamless, nearly un-noticeable repair.

Just what I needed for connecting to my e-bike cable. I used a Y-splice in conjunction with this cable to supply power to a volt meter. Cost is reasonable. Connector plugged right in and should keep out the rain.
