Ninja Approach Ramp
I have been seeing the Ninja ramps for years and never understood the hype. They looked like weird "puzzle piece" jumps that I couldn't picture being sturdy or long lasting. The price was another thing that always made me shy away. But like they say, don't knock it 'till you try it. First of all, this came in a box that seemed too small, I was honestly expecting another box to come with more pieces. But, lo and behold; I opened the box, and it was all there, in a nice compact package - neatly folded together. Set up was relatively easy. I didn't even check to see if it came with instructions because the setup was intuitive enough. Everything fits together just like a puzzle and the instructions for securing the pieces are labeled right onto the wood. The CNC cuts are top notch, crisp, and clean. The cutouts also help save a SIGNIFICANT amount of weight. I have other kicker ramps that I have made in the traditional style of plywood sides, 2x4 braces, and a plywood top and they are probably 3-4 times as heavy making them very cumbersome to move around. When this ramp is fully assembled I can very easily pick it up and transport it to a new location. And of course, the packable nature means you can easily bring it with you to locations other than home to make a bike park out of any natural features. Another key feature, is the adjustable legs. I knew the legs were adjustable, but just figured it was to make the ramp taller and more intense or shorter and more beginner friendly, which is true. But, what I didn't consider was that the legs could be adjusted from side to side, and corner to corner which is a game changer, opening up opportunities for off camber hits and a level of stability that is confidence inspiring and unattainable with other more basic ramps. Lastly, while being very light weight, the ramp is still surprisingly strong. The overall strength, coupled with the ability to be very stable on less than perfect ground makes this ramp very fun and easy to use. Im sure that the manufacturer probably doesn't reccomend this, but after testing it out on my MTB, I decided to take the test to the next level with my Sur-Ron electric dirbike. This bike weighs over 100 lbs. That combined with a 185lb rider and the ramp showed no signs of stress at all. I set the ramp up heading up a hill in a "step up" fashion and hit it at over 20mph probably 30-50 times and the ramp shows nothing but some tire treads. If you are looking for a light weight, portable, sturdy ramp that is versatile and fun for all ages and skill levels. Consider a Ninja Ramp. You won't be disappointed.

great for beginners
I got this for me and my kids to learn how to jump. There is a video showing the ramp set up to go up and down. So that was my initial goal. Everything was well packed and all the parts were pretty well labeled. There is no included manual. The sheet of paper says to go to the webpage and watch a video. The legs go on facing a certain way. The instruction video appears to show the shorter legs the wrong way, so that they do not add to the structural support. I initially thought the extra pieces were part of the table top setup, but they are for the two panel configuration. The video says that the instructions for those pieces are in a separate video, but I could not find it on their website. Fortunately, a user video I found online shows him configuring it in that way. But overall, it really just takes a few minutes from unfolding the whole thing to being ready to jump. One of the issues that I had with my kids bike, a priority 20", was the break over angle. The crank ring contacts the peak. Fortunately, we were recently gifted an older BMX 20" and that was able to clear the ramp. One of the small details that I noticed is the rubber footing under the discs to keep the ramp from sliding. And that this thing feels solid. It did not move at all when I took my full size bike over it. Update. Since I was unable to find any videos or pdf manuals that showed these pieces, I uploaded a photo for others to see.
