This Kamui Athlete "soft" leather tip is a WINNER on CF and wood shafts as well.
I use a carbon fiber shaft on my pool cue stick. I'm evolving from a medium hard tip to a soft tip. After a lot of research I purchased the Kamui Athlete "soft" tip and installed it onto my CF shaft. IMMEDIATELY I noticed a huge improvement with "English" on the white cue ball when struck. Blew me away. Plus I cam easily control the cue ball for my next shot. I also discovered that long straight soft shots table length with this new tip eliminated 100% cue ball scratch into the same pocket. While at the same time this "soft" tip handles hard shots with equal accuracy. Kamui states this tip was designed for carbon fiber shafts. For me it also works great on my backup maple wood shaft. This Kamui Athlete "soft" leather tip is a WINNER!

Price is high , but I've seen more expensive ones..this is a new innovation, it appeared to me . I can't comment on the use f it as I haven't installed it as of yet .

I used to use the kamui med brown switched to this it's a different hit. Good tip. Just still undecided if I'm going to stick with it

Great tip! Was told this was a good tip for my Revo and they were right. Hits well. Lots of control. Was worried it wouldn't give enough spin or would miscue easier as it wasn't a soft, but it's surprisingly good. As it's not a soft tip it holds it's shape well. Haven't had to reshape it since I got it installed and that's months ago with weekly play since I got it.
