Anytone USB Programming Cable for AnyTone At-5555N II 10 Meter Radio (Programming Cable for AnyTone AT-5555N II 10 Meter Radio)

I bought this in hopes that it would work with the President LINCOLN II Plus v3. Success! Only 4 stars because I think these cables are always over priced.

I could only find one review for this cable. said this cable uses WCH3430 high speed to serial chip which is not a clone or counterfeit PROLIFIC chip. plugged the cable into my windows 7 pro and noting happened.so i searched the internet and found a driver. this cable will not work, but the other cable i have shows the prolific (pl2303gs) and port number. even this could be wrong. not sure why this cable will not show up in the ports list. have heard there is a problem with windows 7 and port settings with some of the 5555n2 cables. any one have any thoughts or driver for win.7 this is my experience, yours could be different.

This programming cable uses a WCH343P high speed USB to serial chip which is not an a clone or counterfeit PROLIFIC chip. The Microsoft Windows driver for the WCH343P is WHQL/HCK certified and the correct driver should now automatically install when the cable is plugged into a USB port on the host computer.
