Charles River Apparel Islander Windbreaker Jacket

Pretty much as expected. I needed an inexpensive windbreaker for travel in case I encounter light rain. I am 6'7" so it is a little short, but most things are a little short in my world. Not to be confused with a more technical North Face/Mt. Hardware/Patagonia for active outdoor wear. Pockets are a little shallow and have a snap instead of zipper. No chest pocket. Hood nice and bottom draw string.

I purchased one of these from Amazon in Feb. 2016. Quality and look are as expected. Rain just beads up on it. Not breathable material. You will sweat after awhile. A tooth on the zipper bent then broke of in less than 2 months. I though this was a fluke and ordered another on 4/28. After less than a month one tooth on the zipper is bent. The jacket will no longer zip all the way up. Obviously the plastic zipper is of poor quality. Would not recommend this jacket at all.

Very nice jacket

I bought this jacket for my son. He is a tall, stocky person with long arms. I was afraid this would be too tight or the arm length would be too short, but it fit true to size. Its also hard to find this type of jacket in the stores.

I needed something to wear when walking the dog in the park during what seems to be an endless onslaught of storm fronts this year. This lightweight hoodie windbreaker has been perfect. It isn't too hot to wear, keeps me dry. and has enabled us to walk on days we normally might have skipped.

fits well. a good windbreaker for early spring or early fall

Hello! The collar could be wider, thus further protect the neck and the mouth.

Found it to be a bit less than great quality. Seems to be cheaply made. Would NOT order it again.
