After unboxing this guy I was majorly stoked. I haven't hooked it to a car yet. I was able to hook it up to my computer. I was beyond impressed. Installation was a breeze and this cd player is very easy to use. I played old cd's and the sound quality was amazing. This cd player exceeded my expectations of functionality. I was able to go back and look at old pictures, played music from cd's that had been flooded from 2016. This cd player is by far the best thing to have as extra! I cant wait to put it in the car and take a long car ride. If you do not have a player, this is the one to get. I would recommend this to everyone!

Plug and play! Worked perfectly on my 2017 Mazda cx5, the sound is incredible, so far no skipping, it works with my cars controls but the remote does not work, I don't care though. I paid $40 for a used like new in box version and couldn't be happier. I saved a lot of money this way and it fits right in my glove box, I can even close it and use the USB cable that it comes with. There is a little connector box that I tried to use at first to have more cable but that didn't work just fyi, plug straight into USB in your car and you'll be set.

I recently purchased this External Universal CD Player for my car, and I’m beyond impressed! With most new cars not including CD players anymore, I was really missing the ability to listen to my favorite CDs on the road. This external unit is the perfect solution it’s compact, easy to use, and works seamlessly.It connected quickly via USB, and there were no complicated installations or drivers needed. The sound quality is crystal clear, and there’s no skipping, even on bumpy roads. I love that it works with multiple car models, and even doubles as a CD player for my laptop when I’m not driving.

I bought this for a newer car. Plugging it in through USB was so easy. It's a true plug-and-play device. I keep several CDs in my car and can easily switch them out while driving because there's only one button on the front to push to open. Putting a new CD in starts playback immediately. I have noticed when putting in a new CD it may have a few stutters at the very beginning, but it's only for a few seconds, and then it plays the rest of the CD perfectly the rest of the time. Even if I unplug it to hide it, it comes back with no skips until I change the CD. I listened to the same Christmas CD for a week with no other stutters. Only when I put in a new CD did it stutter again. I think it's part of the disc reading process. The music starts immediately when the CD is entered. There's no time at the beginning when the CD reads the disc before the music. And using the USB, I get info on my CD tracks and the cover is displayed. Sometimes when I first start the car the player won't play. All I do is unplug it from the USB and plug it back in, and it immediately starts playing. My car may not recognize that I want to use the USB input. I think this is a great player!

This external CD player was exactly what I needed! I plugged it into my older vehicle using the auxiliary port, and it worked like a charm -- smooth playback, no skipping, and super easy to use. The remote is a great bonus, too. Just a heads up: it didn’t work in my newer car that doesn’t have an AUX plug, so keep that in mind. It is possible for it to work if you have a radio that can be tuned by hand. My newer car had only certain numbers plugged in, and you couldn't change it to the precise number needed for the tuner to work (below 88 or above 107 is what is needed). But for my older car, it’s been perfect. Highly recommend if you’re missing your old CD collection like I was!

I bought this CD player after buying a 2023 Mazda CX-5 that did not come with a factory CD player. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. The player was basically plug in and play. It seamlessly integrated into my car's audio system and sounds good.The downside is that there is no on/off button so you either have a CD in the player or have to eject the CD to stop the player. You can mute the sounds etc using your car audio system, but the CD continues to play unheard. When I installed the player, I listened to a few songs on the first CD and then ejected it to stop. Later, I reinserted the CD, expecting to have to start the entire CD over again, but no, the CD picked up where I had left off hours earlier. There was no way to restart the CD from the beginning which may or may not be a good thing. Which brings me to the fact that the player does not have a fast forward or rewind function. Had I realized that when shopping, I may have chosen a different player that provided those functions.

Works great. Easily set up and remains stable during the ride so no skipping, just good music. Small enough to store easily in your vehicle.

Easily works in a 2025 Honda CRV hybrid via USB and functions via steering wheel controls, which are wins. The sound is good, too. No specific artist or track information displays, though.*The remote won’t work when connected via USB.* From the seller: “After reviewing your message, we’d like to kindly clarify that the remote control is only compatible when the CD player is connected via AUX or FM modes. Unfortunately, the remote will not function when the unit is connected through USB. However, it supports steering wheel controls for switching tracks and adjusting volume, etc. To use the remote, please ensure your vehicle has an AUX input and that the CD player is connected through this method or via FM transmission.”
