Leather hand tools

Very good product.

These things work but they do not come away from the leather as cleanly as one might hope. They are fine on harder, thicker leather. On softer leather, they are less effective and stick, an awl is needed. However, as they are cheap as chips, so what. One can spend a fortune on such tools if so minded but for an occasional leather worker like me,​ they do a job. ... Since writing this I have found that if the tool is lubricated with beeswax and used over a firm cutting board they performed a lot better.

I absolutely love these! So much quicker and easier than the single round hand punch. These leave a slanted hole which makes the stitching look amazing.

Theyre imperfect but they get the job done, one of the arms aren't straight but all the tines are so like I said, they'll do.

For a beginner like me, these seem to be a sturdy, useful set. I wish they were a little more smoothly finished as this would make them easier to remove from leather after punching. The 4mm set seems like a good middle ground for small projects, suitable for wallets, glasses cases, knife pouches, etc.

This is a difficult review to write. I bought the punches to put even stitching holes in leather, they do that with ease. You get exactly what you want, they make the holes even and easily. I can't say more as that's what I wanted. Good value for money.

Tres agréablement surprise par la qualité de ces articles au vu de certains commentaires. Pour mon usage en amateur, ils remplissent très bien leur fonction et facilitent grandement la couture de mes petits éléments de maroquinerie en cuir.
