Well…. Read Kyle from Canadas comments!!!
*** Attached image was created and belongs to Kyle from Canada (another reveiwer)***Well this worked BUT it didn’t work the way I thought. I originally had my aftermarket camera connected to my reverse/backup light for power and then my video cable plugged into the camera running from the trunk to the OEM head unit where I connected the video cable, ground and power. That didn’t work so I tried to run power along with the video cable. That didn’t work. So I went on Amazon and ordered three more harnesses from other sellers in hopes I’d find one that worked. While I was waiting I came down to the comments and I remember seeing a 4-5 star comment with a diagram. So I opened Kyle’s wiring diagram and wouldn’t you know, he laid out the answer and it worked. The camera turned on and switched my display to the camera view. I cancelled my other harnesses and ordered some 18 or 22 gauge red/black wire and ran that from the truck to the head unit, connected the red/black power from the head unit directly to the camera and bingo, we had a picture!!! Thanks Kyle. I am posting his picture again that he created and deserves all the credit for in hope it helps the next buyer!

This is for installing an aftermarket camera on a stock headunit
This is only for adding a camera to a stock headunit.Does not work for using the stock camera on an aftermarket headunit.

Worked with my 2012 Camry LE
I had previously installed a backup camera which came with a auto dimming rearview mirror/backup camera screen. The auto dim function stopped working and the screen was kind of small. I used this harness to switch the camera feed from the mirror to my cars facotry stereo/head unit. The harness seems to be made well and is wrapped nicely. Im only giving 4/5 because it comes with zero instructions and no wiring diagram. Its fairly straight forward and Ive included an example with my review. The camera is only triggered when the car is in reverse; otherwise it returns to your audio screen.
