Is this an actual muffler or is it just straight though on the inside.

Both. The diameter of the tube is open straight through. There is baffling material around the outside of the diameter of the tube. Borla website claims better airflow than a simple straight pipe muffler.

Hey Sean, its universal so you should have a problem making it work for your Corolla.

Is this just the muffler or is it a kit?

This is literally just the muffler you see in the picture.
