So many! Durable and last so long, kids lose so many being kids but I've used the backings on real jewelry as well. Sports approved. They are a little longer than the ear lobe but still perfect size. The point is pointy on the piece that goes trough the ear - once they are in their ears I use a nail file to round that out.

They're practically invisible and didn't bother her ears (she has very sensitive skin) even when she left them in for several days during tournaments. The posts are pretty pointed but we're easy to trim with small scissors. Highly recommend these.
