Good quality for a small portable
Audio technica has been around for decades, I am old enough to remember the 70s 80s 90s and all the fun cartridges they released and now their turntables in the recent decades known for their quality and consumer friendly prices, well some of the time. This portable player was released in the 80s and it had a short run back then it was a nice player to have it was so way ahead of its time. And now just the last few years they re-released it and decided to call it the sound burger the original name they gave it in the 80s. But this one is far better than that one this one here has an auxiliary output to connect it to your stereo or powered speakers and it also has Bluetooth out it connects to your Bluetooth speakers. I wish it had a volume control to use it with standard headphones but it does not however you can use it with Apple or almost any other brand Bluetooth headphones. I usually connected to my JBL speaker or beats headphones. It comes with a great magnetic phono cartridge that will not destroy your records like some of the cheap portables available that are known to damage records but not this one it plays nice and smooth and sounds great it is made with high-quality parts and it is just a looker let me tell you the yellow is striking and I get lots of compliments on it when I play it out in public. If you're someone who has a home stereo and a larger turntable but wants something to play in the den or in your bedroom or garage this would be the player for you, I use it when I go out hunting used records and I want to test a record before I buy it this is the perfect thing to take with you just make sure it's connected to a pair of Bluetooth headphones. It doesn't come with any kind of protection or case so I had to purchase a case separately, there is one that is official and it looks like a hamburger container like the ones they used make at McDonald's for the big Mac! But they are also some budget friendly options if you don't want the big Mac container case. It plays 45 RPM and 33 RPM, so it plays your full-size 12 inch albums it plays 10 inch records and it plays 7 inch records with a big hole and a little hole. It runs on USB-C cable and it also has a rechargeable built-in battery that gives you a lot of playtime. I believe it is available in yellow black and white they had a very limited edition one a few years ago that came out in red but that one is no longer made I hope future additions will give us the ability to have USB flash drive recording built-in so that you can digitize your records without hooking it up to a computer this is a feature that I would love with a high-quality player like this. I hope future updates will have this feature

Portability sound quality Bluetooth capability
I remember these things from back in the mid to late 80s and early 90s, very cool little unit; old school definitely but with a high tech twist; excellent quality not like those other cheap box units that tear up your records. This is high quality stuff and should provide years of enjoyment. I bought this for my teenage daughter and she really loves It. I got the yellow one, because if and when they stop making them, that’s the color which is going to be a collector’s item. The sound quality is just as good as my high-end turntable that cost over $4000. This little unit really delivers with the added bonus of Bluetooth, you couldn’t ask for anything more. And the portability makes it great for choice for young people who are now just discovering vinyl; because they can take the player with them and a few 45’s that are still in production with some of the current artists they listen to and the parties on!

I was skeptical at first, but…
The sound burger is a really cool device. I’m a minimalist with more records than other items and I was in the need of something a bit more lightweight and functional for my personal needs. I’m a bit of a nomad too. Carrying around my metal plate AT turntable had become cumbersome over the years. The Sound Burger is super lightweight, easy to use, has fantastic clarity when connected through AUX or Bluetooth. (I needed to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter for MY setup.) It’s sturdy and I haven’t had it skip at all. It has REPLACED my record player set up and I look forward to playing more vinyl. Priced under $200, why would you not buy this? — I updated the stylus too.

Awesome portable battery powered record player with Bluetooth.
Great sound. Works awesomely. Portable. No 72 RPM though, just 33.3 and 45.

neat!
great little device, does a really good job with the few records I have and takes up very little room when not in use. dinging one star because Bluetooth tricky to set up with some speakers and because there's no auto stop or lift.

Very Pleasantly Surprised
I’ll start by saying I’m not an Audiophile in the traditional sense. I appreciate a quality system, and while I don’t have the most impressive rig, I think it’s more than enough to tell if any certain source is a weak point. For example, I have been using this Sound Burger with a Schiit Jotunheim driving Focal Elex cans, and JBL LSR305 and L310S loudspeakers over balanced XLR connections. That said, I ordered this turntable after a month or two of pretty rapidly picking up a collection of LPs. I fully intended to assemble a higher end stack including a quality balanced turntable, which on its own would run about $1100. I am not ready to pull the trigger for that, but with all the new vinyl coming in, I wanted to be able to start listening to it with my existing gear to make sure the quality of the pressings is there and frankly to enjoy the music. I looked at some other fairly modest options for a turntable, but the novelty of this and also the relevance that would remain even after moving up to the nicer system attracted me to it. Skeptical, I pulled the trigger on it. Personally, I’m extremely happy with the quality I’m getting out of it. There are obviously some cons that just cannot be overcome for a turntable like this, such as relatively minor shocks suck as bumping my desk causing it to jump/skip, where as a heavier table with more inertia and better isolation feet should mitigate this. Regardless, this looks like a toy, in some ways feels like it, but it sounds great. I’m very happy and beyond impressed. I have not yet used the Bluetooth or battery powered features- I’ll update my review if I ever do. But for relatively straightforward line out usage, it’s a strong recommend from me, especially as a versatile “second turntable”.

I love the concept! Actual portability in a record player, and so, so cool (especially in yellow)! Pair it to a Bluetooth speaker and the least portable things about your setup are the record themselves. I haven't had the opportunity to listen to it through a more advanced system, but the audio quality is more than good enough to my ears. If I had to nitpick, I would argue there should be a bit more height clearance to the arm when in the parked position. I would also appreciate an autostop at the end of the record but honestly these are minor gripes at best.

I didn’t have a record player but bought some vinyls to experience the classic vinyl sound. Very satisfied. This unit is so compact and has BT and a line out. Very easy to use. I’m a little worried about the studiness of the arm and needle but so far it’s been holding up. I don’t think you can get much smaller than this player. If you want a portable vinyl player, this is the ultimate. It’s pricier compared to the full sized chinese ones but I trust this brand way more. I paired my Airpods Max and loving the sound.
