Ray-BanRbr0102s Caravan Reverse Square Sunglasses

I surprised my teenage son with these sunglasses 🕶️. He had been admiring them for a bit so I went ahead and bought them on Prime Day. Saved some money, my son loves them, wears them daily, a win-win.

Tried these out as I needed to replace a broken pair of my RayBan aviators. These are very comfortable to wear and the mirrored blue lenses are good enough to withstand the sun in Taormina, Sicily as well as the accompanying reflection off the ocean. I received quite a few compliments on them so far, I think I’ll try the reverse aviators when they offer polarized or mirrored lenses as an option.

Felt strongly enough about these to leave my first amazon review. I have tried both these and the reverse wayfarers. These shades are obviously a bold push forward, and with their interesting new color options they make for a really sick look. However, the lenses flare in reverse which basically allows the sunlight to flow directly into your eye instead of being caught by the top of the glasses. They bend inward so your eyelashes hit them- and you can see a reflection in the top right corners where the les drifts away from your eye instead of cupping it like normal pairs. Super interesting look, but functionally they don't work quite as well. I will be keeping them, nut will only wear them to parties and social events, actual outdoor activity which requires performance will be disappointing in these.
