I picked up a free desk from a local Facebook group and wanted to update it for my new workspace. I bought a roll of faux wood wallpaper and some gold spray paint. The spray paint can was faulty and leaked all over my project and my hand. I returned it and decided to go a different route. This little bottle seemed like a good option since the desk legs are metal. I shook it frequently and just kept going. I did one coat, two in just the very front of the legs. It covered so well! I still have about between a third and a half a bottle left so it’s definitely worth the cost.

Wow! What a surprise! This paint goes on so easily and is just perfect for painting metal dresser pulls. It really made a difference with the style of the furniture. Highly recommend. Great quality.

such a good gold leaf paint, I use them on oyster art, dried pretty fast and the applicator is great for my use!

First all the great things about this. You really only need to barely tip the brush in the paint, after, of course, shaking the bottle like nail polish, but the paint itself is thinned and goes A LONG WAY!! I imagine it will last me years given that I don't do much gold leafing, but I just may incorporate this paint into re-furbishing furniture. One coat will cover for sure. I played with it on paper and it was wonderful. I didn't use an artist brush but I think it would work if you use is sparingly. The bad... I was vinyl stenciling onto leather and it bled under the stencil a bit (I take some responsibility here). So on the second part, I put down the stencil and went over it with Modge Podge to seal it and prevent a bleed. Not being patient, I don't think I gave the MP enough time to completely dry so when I started to remove the stencil it was gluey. I stopped, am letting it dry all the way, then I will see if I can use some of my sharpie markers to touch up the bleeding parts. I started to use nail polish remover, which the paint was very agreeable with, but the leather, not so much. I think it's a good product, but try to play with it before you ruin a new leather binder. LOL

Great paint for little job and touchups

I use this to paint a replacement staff for the Santo Nino statue. The color is like satin gold not too shiny which is good. It's alcohol based which is good. There's a built in brush attached to the cap which is convenient for small projects.

This is a pretty gold paint that I purchased to use on a special mug that had gold details but was showing a lot of wear. I was hoping this gold was brighter to fill in and blend with the original, it's not exactly the same. It lacks the brightness of the original gold; however, it looks very nice. The paint requires you to shake it often while using it as the gold settles to the bottom of the jar quickly. The brush is small and easy to use in small area. The coverage is great and it applies smoothly. Overall, this is a very nice gold paint for many art projects and is a great value for the money. I will try next as an ink to use with calligraphy messages on cards.

Product is v good but the color does not look like the website. Rich gold is dark and muted , not a bright gold like the picture. I ordered the English gold. Hopefully that will be a brighter shade.
