Best Patches for Dexcom G7
I started using the Dexcom G7 about 2 years ago and I could find a good patch that would stay on. I finally decided to look on Amazon for something new and came across these Lexcam patches for the Dexcom G7 and they work perfectly. They are already pre-cut and they're easy to put on, granted I will recommend that if you are putting the sensor on your triceps I would ask for help from someone, other than that they stay on perfectly until you peel them off! I highly recommend these patches for any using the Dexcom G7 sensor!

The Best
They fit the G7 sensor perfectly, and they stick to my skin for the duration. I had tried other brands and designs but these worked the best. I'm satisfied.

It makes the G7 STICK!
These guys make an overlay that doesn't come off even after spending days in a pool. I'm hard on my G7's and need the extra resistance over the manufactures default. I have not had any allergy problems. The overlays are easy to put on. These are also very thin and you can barely tell they are there. Not sure what I would do without these. My only complain is that they aren't on the HSA list.

AWESOME! (Have to follow instructions)
So I just applied my first overpatch. It’s awesome! Now here is my information for you. These patches are vapor thin (actually I like it that way) but putting them on is a bit taxing. Read the instruction card. Follow it. It works if you do. Now, once you peel of the large, thick backing tab, be careful. This thing is really sticky. Handle by the edges. If you touch the sticky part with your fingers, you will pull off the patch and then you will end up like the pictures in the bad reviews. Place it around the G7 in the proper orientation and then press onto skin. They say to run your finger around it 3 times. I went like 6 times. So much so that the separation of the second backing begins to lift. Lift off the backing slowly and in a circular motion, making sure the overlay stays attached to the body. (I had no problem). Voila! You are done. If I have any trouble removing it, I will post back here.

Very effective but...
You have to be diligent about where/how you put on and take off the patch. The company gives recommendations on products you can use to aid in taking off the patch etc. Do not rip this off like you would a bandaid. Both my brother and I are Type 1 Diabetics and we both had skin reactions the first few uses. Seeing I have sensitive skin, I do tend to have skin pull up with the patch, but when being diligent and using even just water to moisten the area, the patch comes off easier and does not cause much irritation. I feel the positives out way the negatives because this patch keeps your Dexcom stuck to your arm like glue! I would bump and catch my Dexcom on things daily and this patch doesn't like the sensor move a smidge! It also moves with your body, so you don't feel restriction, it doesn't bubble, it's pretty solid with keeping water out... it does what it's supposed to do. It's super sticky so yeah, expect some skin pulling! Haha.

Stay on and come off easily for me!
I really love these. They can be awkward to put on. Once I figured it out it was easy. I find the perforation first thing and pull up the corner, I try to touch the adhesive as little as possible! I am really good at applying these but my husband is terrible at it 😂. He messes them up every time! I love these because they last the entire 10 days and I dont have any problem with removing them. There is hardly any residue left behind and I’ve never had it pull on my skin or cause any discomfort at all. I can put one on and shower as usual and have never had one of these come off or even come loose. I do make sure to carefully and gently dry them upon getting out of the shower. I do see some people have had what looks like allergic reaction to these but I have never had that experience. These have performed great for me. I have never used any kind of skin tac or anything under them. These work great when you figure out the application process as long as you aren’t uncoordinated like my husband 😂

Highly Recommend this Over Patch!
I highly recommend these patches to anyone who inquires on my Facebook G7 groups. This patch combined with the use of Skin Tac wipes prior to sensor insertion will keep a sensor in place for the required duration.

Almost sticking too well! Harder to remove than other patches. Recommend medical adhesive wipes to help with removal.
