This clear tape has become my preferred choice, and it is the only brand I rely on for all my repair and other needs. I have been purchasing this tape since its initial release. The adhesive quality significantly surpasses that of other tape brands. It is both easier to tear off a piece and much simpler to cut to the desired size. When applied correctly for leak prevention (ensuring the tape is smoothed out evenly with the appropriate tools), it maintains an incredibly strong hold. There is no need for concern; I previously utilized it to seal water out of a taillight that had a perforation, and it perfectly sealed and prevented water from entering. To give you an idea of how incredible this tape is for sealing, my taillight that I sealed with this tape was right above a sprinkler where I parked daily, and after applying it, zero water entered my taillight. Currently, I employ it for a wide range of repair needs, such as addressing an unintended hole in a plant pot or securing broken glass or a mirror. Once smoothed, it is virtually invisible unless specifically scrutinized. This tape offers a multitude of applications; I genuinely appreciate it because it eliminates the need for various different tapes or other materials to mend items—this single product accomplishes everything!

this tape is awesome! every winter we have to put plastic on the windows to weatherize them. problem is that the tape unsticks and so you need to find ways to make it stick. IT sucks and it happens every year. but then i found clear duck tape, and the gorilla brand holds tough, like other heavy duty duck tapes. So now, i go all the way around an the plastic holds. Very good stuff!

This tape is incredible! We were feeding 3 kittens and Mom outside and we put an old 1 man tent under the carport for them to use. Yep, they shredded a couple the sides, it was inevitable. We repaired the tent with this tape and it held up very against super sharp claws and a lot of climbing all over. I have also used this on the roof of our camper for temporary repairs. I have used this on our camper A/C cover, synthetic sort of vinyl. Gorilla duct tape did not stick to this. This clear Gorilla tape stuck to and is still sticking thru rain and snow. Sticks to things that some tapes, (Gorilla duct tape) does not stick to. Works well

I can and have bought this tape locally, but the only problem is the rolls offered locally are smallish meaning they don't last long. Plus, the smaller rollers are about $2 less for half the amount on these Amazon rolls. These 18-yard rolls are by far the better bargain, and the most important part is the tape is simply great. Holds strongly and it's clear and doesn't seem to leave a sticky residue.

Gorilla tape is the best tape around in terms of durability. I've used it for so many different things: I patched some ceiling cracks in my bedroom and kitchen and it stopped the leaking for months until the roof was able to be replaced and the ceiling patched. I've used it to keep my passenger-side mirror in tact when someone side-swiped my car years ago. It held tight until I was able to get the mirror replaced a couple months later. Finally, this year, both of the blinker lenses on a different vehicle of mine fell off within like 4 months of each other. Not the whole blinker housing, just the plastic lens covers. That's why I bought the crystal clear version of this tape - to use in place of lens covers until I could afford to fix. These makeshift "lens covers" are still on my car and still holding strong, despite strong thunderstorms with hail and wind and temps over 95 degrees for several straight days. I love this tape because you can tear it without using scissors. That said, it's very expensive. Same price everywhere.

A complete disappointment. Gorilla tape is supposed to take on 'the toughest jobs on the planet', or something like that. Well, it started peeling off the very second day, with the wind blowing against the material it was expected to hold in place. A very sub-ordibary product. (I really shouldn't even give it a single star, but... oh, well.)

It's just the best tape in the world, that's all. This tape can hold heavy items. But the best part is that you can remove this tape and then put it back on again without leaving a mark.
