These are sturdy and feel heavier than 5a to me. The sound great on my ride and highway. I like the wood on the snare and toms a little more. But they are very functional and easy to grip. Good value for the money and I live the color.

First and foremost these are a really solid stick for an exceptionally fair price. They don’t flex as much as a lot of synthetic sticks do. They do flex a little but it’s negligible. Flex in sticks is not a good quality, they should be rigid, which is key to them sounding good. You really can’t beat their price and when they often come as a double pack they are an awesome deal! The sizing is perfect and they’re fairly comfortable with their shape. My son is new to drumming but I have been playing for 30 years. I got them for him but quickly found that I liked using them too. Great price, rock solid and minimal flex. Very happy with these!*** They are however without a doubt 100% not carbon fiber. I had first thought they were a carbon fiber composite but they appear to made of some very hard plastic. Perhaps HDPE or something stronger like an ABS plastic of sone sort. I work with carbon fiber in many forms, be it rods of composite for making structural supports for drones, or in sheets for compression molding, or forged composite for making more precise shapes. They in the end are a good quality and budget friendly stock, can’t go wrong!

As described...virtually indestructible with proper use!I don't know if these come in 5B, but I will buy them if I see them out there

I like the color and the feel of these sticks. They give your sound a brighter tone compared to wood sticks.

If you are a real drummer, you won't like these. If you need something to sit on for pleasure, you might be interested. Tested both.

I got these as part of a Halloween costume. I was dressed as a famous drummer, and they were the perfect accent piece. I also aspire to play the drums, so eventually I will use them for that, but I don't have my drums yet, so I can't comment on how well they work for that. I also fidget with them, and they are great for twirling.They are hollow but feel about the same weight as a pair of maple 5a drumsticks I own. They have a hole at the tip and a plug at the bottom. I've been considering filling one pair with sand to make dead-blow drumsticks for practice and increasing my wrist strength.

Fun to practice with. I love them.
