The brightness on these light are amazing and they are able to connect with HomePods or any smart assistant and overall a very smart device however sometimes there are connectivity issues and occasionally they do turn of then turn back but otherwise the best lights ever

Put it around the TV stand and it really sets the scene. It great how you can change the scenes

Great value for money. Works with apple home.Easy to install, although the tape doesn’t hold well on the corners.Few connectivity issues every now and then, But nothing annoying.The white is VERY bright.

I bought this to add to my Apple Home system, it's so temperamental and always having issues connecting. It does not like staying on for extended periods of time and at least a couple of times an hour will just turn off for no reason. Sometimes when turning on it will forget the last setting and be super low brightness so I have to go in to Nanoleafs awfully designed app to fix it. The LEDs are not individually addressable so can only display one colour at a time also. The only thing I liked is how bright it can get but tbh this product is awful as a smart device. If you are considering this I would recommend just getting a cheaper 'dumb' led strip instead and plugging it into a smart wifi plug for turning it on and off. I paid over £40 for this and would say it's worth about £15.

Added a number of these onto the main unit. The connected really easily and give good colour - particularly like the “adaptive” white - so bluer in the middle of day - yellower in the evening. Great value for money too

Had this setup for a year without ever unplugging it, and everything seemed fine. But the very first time I went to unplug it, the connection between the power adapter and the LED snapped right off. Pretty disappointed since it was never moved or messed with until now.

The Nanoleaf lightstrip starter kit (review based on 2 meter variant) arrived in a branded box, inside the strip is coiled up and has two Velcro ties holding it together, underneath you have the power supply, controller unit and very basic startup instructions.My first impressions of the lightstrip as I laid it out flat was of the thickness of it, it looks good quality and the LEDs are all sealed away to protect them, the backing appears thick also and even kinks every so often along its length, because the strip is fairly thick it may have some issues when it comes to keeping it stuck to a particular surface, have some spare double sided tape and thoroughly clean the surface before you begin.To use the lights you must have the Nanoleaf app installed, once started you can scan the QR code on the sheet provided and it should connect for you, this is the first time I have used a Nanoleaf product, I have wanted to try some of them out for a while now but I cant justify the cost unfortunately.The app looks slick and there are lots of options to look over and use to configure the lightstrip, it took me a little while to familiarise myself with it, you can download light scenes and set schedules amongst other various options, can be used with Alexa and Matter over thread.The lights when on are vibrant in colour, the range in brightness is excellent, it colour changes smoothly without noticeable stepping, there are literally hundreds of scenes to choose from to suit your mood in the app.Overall, the Nanoleaf lightstrip has great potential and lovely colour options to choose from, can only be used in straight lines, can get extension kits to make the strip longer, the strip can be cut at certain intervals, but once you do then you can’t reconnect a section, connectors don’t feel very secure and sometimes slip out, requires a hub like Apple HomePod Mini, Apple TV or Google Nest Hub to unlock some features like routines/schedules, screen mirror available through the Nanoleaf Desktop App, this allows the strip colour to match the colour on the monitor, I am not sure why the images show the light going around the 4 corners of a TV as I cant figure out how to make a 90 degree bend with this strip, if someone does then please say, thank you.
