As a property manager this product has been great for properties in the south, we often have issue with termites and having this pop up when we have one has been a great help. The quality is great it withstands the heat and rain so I defiantly recommend it for any homeowner or investor.

Product was shipped quick and smoothly while packaged perfectly. I purchased this product to assist with the detection and destruction of subterranean termites. I can say, we haven't had any issues with termites to include no activity around the stakes. The stakes are easy to install which includes either a hand auger bit or a auger bit that easily attaches to a drill. Product instructions state to place stakes 2 to 3 feet away from your home and 10 feet apart. We have placed these 6 to 8 feet apart and roughly 2 feet away from the home for added protection. They are also swapped out every 4 months or when one pops up. Which is typical in wet environments as the cardboard seems to degrade along with worms that seems to love these. I'd suggest keeping a few extra on hand.

Seemed to do just what the professionals bait stations do at a fraction of the cost. There are 15 bait stations and rings in each box and the auger that is included has a removable handle so you can chuck the auger shank in a power drill.

Great yard maintenance tool

I purchased three boxes (a total of 45 stakes). Too early to determine if they do the job. I installed these for peace of mind as a preventative measure. I’ve never had any termite issues in the past. I installed all 45 stakes. It was easy and simple to do. I used the little auger tool provided along with my battery powered hand drill. Works great. My only complaint is that out of the 45 stakes, 2 immediately malfunctioned when within 48 hours the red signal rod popped up. It definitely isn’t because of any termite or ant activity or because of excess moisture, etc. I pulled the stakes and they look as new and pristine as when they came out of the box. I called customer support and was told I’d have to remove a box full of stakes (15) of them and return the whole box in order to receive a replacement for the 2 malfunctioning stakes. It just wasn’t worth the effort to remove that many stakes. I would have thought they’d let me return just the 2. They would have easily concurred that it wasn’t and activity issue. I’ll continue to recommend this product as long as I don’t have more malfunctioning stakes.

We have a house plus other out buildings that all have wooden entryways. We bought 2 boxes of these little wonders, based on not the perimeter measurements, but about 10' more on each side. The screw that comes with the install kit worked well in all the different soil types around our property (sandy to clay)! With all the rain we've had (flooding), the units still seem to be working to bait the termites. In pulling to check them, several are chewed but also cloudy from being very wet. Several of them have "popped" during the first month. They seem to all be working to attract termites and take the bait back home. Dead wood all around may keep us buying these for some time. However, compared to the cost of a professional company installing very similar bait stations and coming out to check on them each month, these are a great deal! No issue with the dog digging them up (after his initial interest). Mud covering them doesn't seem to decrease their effectiveness. Suggestion: if you are having termite issues, buy more than you need for the initial install. We will be putting in about 6 new stations in the first month, and buying a new supply to be ready for replacing others showing great activity in month two!
