The PH meter does not work. It reads between 7 &8 no matter what soil I put it in. I even put it in moistened coffee grounds which are extremely acid. and it still reads between 7&8. Moisture meter and light meter are working fine. But I bought this to test for ph on some very expensive and delicate plants. I have been watering with acid water for two weeks and the soil still reads the same. I’m worried now that I have damaged my plants and have had to flush them all and report some of them.

I purchased the iPower Soil pH Meter, 3-in-1 Tester Kit for Moisture, Light & pH for Home and Garden. Works great. I haven't had any issues. This was a gift and she couldn't be happier. To be quite honest, it's only primarily used for water testing now but the other features work fine. You can tell whether there's enough light or not without the gage anyway. The PH level is only checked periodically to make sure it's right... but the moisture gage is used quite often and gives you a reading almost immediately for moisture. Dead accurate. Then its put away. The gage is not left in the ground for long unless the soil is being tested for PH. Then the gage is put away. The gage is not left in the ground for prolonged periods of time and is well taken care of. Still works great through a couple seasons. There's a couple of these types of gages on the market. I was weary because I figured cheap price means cheap equipment, but in this case for this company.. if it's well taken care of.. it should last.

May be my fault though. This is a meter for SOIL testing. It doesn't work well for liquids and it says so in the listing. Many of the photos submitted show the meter sitting in cups of liquid so I assumed it would be OK but it's GROSSLY inaccurate for that. I purchased a digital meter for that and they registered different results.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked great too bad it was worthless. Light neater was not working on both units. Ph was so bad it couldn’t even measure vinegar. The moisture meter function never moved Save your money. Not even with the time to return. Junk. Threw in trash very dissatisfied

so far so good plants are happy i do not over or under water them now!

This meter is so great! I absolutely love it for reading all the necessary details of my indoor plants!! So helpful.
