Great toaster!
The Evoloop 4 Slice Toaster is a practical addition to the kitchen, offering 1.5" extra-wide slots that handle everything from bagels to croissants with ease. The six shade settings provide good control over how toasted you want your bread, and the warming rack is useful for keeping items warm without overdoing it. I like this rack as it is something I would never have had with other toasters. The toaster's bagel, defrost, reheat, and cancel functions are straightforward and work well. Cleanup is simple, thanks to the removable crumb tray, and the stainless steel design is sturdy and looks good on the counter. Overall, it's a reliable, no-nonsense toaster that gets the job done. Definitely recommend.

Live it!
This toaster has quickly become a kitchen favorite! The extra-wide slots make it perfect for thick slices of bread, bagels, or even croissants. The 6 shade settings give you plenty of options to get your toast just the way you like it. I love the warming rack feature—it’s so convenient for heating pastries. Plus, the removable crumb tray makes cleanup super easy. It’s sleek, stainless steel design looks great on my countertop, and it works perfectly every time. Highly recommend!

Toast browns uneven.
This toaster lasted 17 months— We use a lot of round bread loaves which has up to 6-8 in long slices. The toast always comes out burnt on the end but barely brown in center. It appears hotter at the end of the slots than the middle. The heat elements started burning out in a year until all sides had missing heat filaments Good unit and life span for the price range.

Mixed feelings
Overall, not a bad toaster. Not a great toaster, but not bad. I had a four slice Cuisinart for over 10 years that worked perfectly well, until it didn't. It did absolutely EVERYTHING I wanted - except toast long bread, that we had to cut in half first. I decided we'd try a long-slot toaster and I settled on this one. The best thing about this toaster, it toasts very evenly. I don't usually eat bagels, but I like my bread toasted on only one side, so I always use the bagel setting and it works perfectly, only one side gets toasted very evenly. Now the not-so-great. The darkness control on mine is not adjusted right, we keep it on 1 and that is plenty dark. The higher settings just blacken. Also, I wish it had dual controls. I knew it only had one set of controls and thought I'd be OK with that, but I miss the separate controls my Cuisinart had. Especially the bagel setting, as I can't toast someone else's at the same time unless they also want one-sided toast. While the slots are somewhat wide, they are not as wide as my Cuisinart had, and thick sliced bread/bagels/english muffins, etc. have to be pushed down to toast then fished out carefully so as not to damage the toaster. Lastly, my Cuisinart did not get hot to the touch, but this one does. I've only had it a few months and we don't do a lot of toast, so time will tell how durable it is and how long it will last. The carriage mechanism feels a little flimsy, so I expect the first thing to go will be that. Hopefully not for at least a few years.

Handles wide slices
Yes, it looks good and Yes, it handles wide slices and bagels with ease. BUT, I love the fact that the slots are 6 inches long. My last toaster was only 5 1/2 inches long. I prefer whole grain whole wheat breads and they seem to be cut longer and so I would end up pushing the bread down to get it in. My bread fits with room to spare! No more struggling. The pictures show a standard size slice of bread with my whole grain behind it, and the other picture shows the whole grain slice in the toaster.

Awful toaster!!
The toaster we’ve had for years starting toasting very inconsistently, so we decided it was time to replace it. I picked this one out and thought it looked good. But it is awful! The very first piece of toast was warm bread on one part and burnt black on another. We tried different settings, moving it to different area, flipping it part way through…but nothing worked!!

AWESOME TOASTER
This toaster is versatile and convenient for doing a number of toasting items as all seem to fit no problem The other feature we love is the warming rack as it can toast the inside of a roll so that when making a sandwich like for example a Philly steak it's a little toasted inside and warm through out. Plus too it's just very nice looking and doesn't take up a lot of counter depth.
