Only spins in direct sunlight
Wish I had done more research on this, but that's my own fault. It only works when in direct sunlight and you really can't adjust the solar part much. It also prevents it from spinning if the wind picks up, which makes no sense. Not a good purchase.

This thing spins way to fast for many applications. I have a long helical ornament that looks ok at speed, but many things wouldn't.

Don’t recommend. Died after 4 month.

Don't buy - fragile and short-lived.
Crapped out after only 4 months, and weight of wind spinner hanging from solar motor was only 1/4 of claimed maximum weight capacity of 4 lbs.
