Nordic Ware Bavaria Bundt Pan

Not remotely a regular baker and first time making a Bundt cake! I was worried about turning it out given some of the difficulties cited in other reviews so I used a brush to get into every area and buttered (very) thoroughly with warmed butter. Then gave it a sprinkle of flour too. Once baked I let the cake cool for a good 20 minutes or more in the tin before turning it out. It slipped out so easily I was taken aback. And it looked incredible! No idea if that was beginner’s luck but it looked so awesome that this is definitely my new favourite way to bake cakes!!

I am a fan of Nordicware cake tins, and am building up quite a collection. This Bavarian mould was up to the usual high standard. Cakes bake well in it and it is a good size for many standard size recipes. I would highly recommend buying a bottle of cake release with any bundt tins - especially ones like this with intricate designs like this one and the gingerbread house Nordicware tin. When I brush the whole of the inside of the tin lightly with cake release before use, the cakes come out beautifully, with the whole design in tact.

Not many questions needed really. It’s “Nordicware” it good kit, tgat simple. Heavy, great heat distribution, none stick. Works perfectly. Does what it says on the tin. I’ve built up quite a collection of Nordicware, because of the quality.

Another great Bundt pan for my collection. I have a few designs now and they make the humblest sponge recipe look very special. Adults and children alike gasp when they see the results. Use as directed - I use a pastry brush to paint oil into all the little features and then dust with flour. works every time.

I bought this as a gift and it's perfect! My advice is to go for a really good quality bundt pan like this, rather than one you won't enjoy using as much and will replace with one of these "hierloom" models in the future.

I’m pleased with this cake tin, but ultimately it’s really quite expensive. I know it’s a lot more substantial that cheaper tins, but it has the same non stick coating that will come off, and really does need a lot of TLC in use and cleaning. It has to be buttered and floured before every use, and if batter does stick to it it can’t be left to soak in water, and with all the little crevices it needs a soak to release the residue. It’s ok, it creates a nice pattern, but I could have got one from Lidl for £5, replaced it every five years before I died and still paid half the price of this one. Loses a star for price and being high maintenance.

Children will go crazy for the cakes you'll effortlessly turn out time after time from this tin, its great detail and generous size mean that you can produce an incredibly fine cake quickly, and effortlessly time after time. Just as suitable for boys as girls ( soldier theme perhaps vs Rapunzel?) it will be a real hit. And, it looks stunning as part of the collection of tins I have!

I spent waaaaaaaaay too much money on this, however it makes THE PRETTIEST CAKES. Top tip however, is all recipes seem to say let cool for 15mins before turning out, however as this holds the heat I would say leave it for a bit longer as a cake has been lost to such a fate. Don't hesitate, just buy it!
