This thing is pretty cool. I've been wanting a rolled ice cream maker for a while and this one is perfect. It is small and perfect for a little fun with the kiddos. My daughter loved making ice cream with this. It's takes some time to learn how to roll it but once you've got it, you're good to go. Be sure that it lays flat in the freezer because there is liquid inside that makes it cold. If it's not layed flat, the cold will not evenly distribute. You can use any basic ice cream recipe. The price is really reasonable. I recommend it to any ice cream lover.

We decided to make a get together fun by adding something unique. Making ice cream. This made making ice cream fun and easy. It freezes the cream quickly and it is fun to move it around, curling the freezing cream into a great treat.

Difficult to figure out. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I think it needs to be really really cold and the batter needs to be super thin?

It does what it says it does... once. I tried this tonight using my own recipe with half whole milk and half heavy cream, ovaltine, peanut butter powder and chocolate chips. It did freeze and I probable poured it on a little too thick be cause the top wouldn't freeze. But I was able to get a nice big slab frozen in less than 10 minutes. It did come out a bit icy, but that could very well be my own mistake by using too much milk to cream. I will experiment more. I prepared 2 cups of mix and was really only able to freeze about 1 cup successfully. By the 2nd round, the plate wasn't as effective at freezing, but I was still able to get most of it frozen. The 3rd part ended up being frozen by 8th grade science class methods. Is it fun to see the ice cream freeze right before your eyes, yes! Most definitely and it's a great activity to do with the kids for a nice little evening treat. Just don't expect to get a whole tub of ice cream out of it. If you want to go more, I'd suggest buying more than 1 tray.

It works by freezing it up first in the freezer. It doesn't use electricity. It freezes the liquid quickly and it comes out a good texture that tastes really good. You can reuse it a few times before needing to freeze it again.

I read so many reviews and chose this product based on it having the best chance of making rolled ice cream. I froze the device upside down as instructed for two days and we made the ice cream mixture based off a recommended recipe. Well nothing happened it just slushed on the surface. We had a very disappointed Daddy and 3 year old. We even tried altering the recipe but it still didn’t produce rolled ice cream. I guess we’ll have to try another brand but this product did not make rolled ice cream. Disappointed indeed.

Lots of fun trying out different fruits, bases and toppings! Little bit of a learning curve but that is what makes it fun and interesting. We used greek yogurt, strawberry yogurt, blackberries, and chocolate sauce. The thicker you make the base, the better it rolls but the harder it is to roll. Had tons of fun with my kids and it's super easy to use! Really cheap cost for the unit and save you lots of money not having to buy frozen yogurt or ice cream. A very nice purchase especially when wild berries from the back yard are in season. Also a nice learning tool to teach your kiddos how to make your own delicious treats!

I did some ice cream with my daughter this weekend and we love it. Ease to use, really quick to do, size perfect for our personal recipes. Really functional and simple

Nous n'obtenons pas vraiment des glaces roulees comme souhaité car le refroidissement n'est pas assez important.
