Q: If you could give one message to a large group of people; what would it be? A: --- "Well. for one, always count your blessings and be grateful for what you have - don't focus on the things you don't have. Try to look on the bright side of life, really... I am not on any mind-altering drugs; it's just what I believe. I guess it's who I am. ---- Q: Can you explain why you have such a positive attitude?. A: --- Well, people always are more responsive when I smile to them. There's so much negativity out there but when I smile and wish them a great day; my positive energy flows into them. And they pass it on. It's like that movie "the message". You have the power to influence your surroundings; like the Butterfly Effect. When I meet a pessimist who tells me it all ends badly; I feel really sorry for the guy. My thought is "Hello...who bother being negative when it all ends? - Just have some fun; put on some good disco music and dance your way through life" Complaining is really not going to change anything. ---- Q: Can you clarify what you mean with that? A: --- Perhaps I can give you an example. The other day I was listening to the radio and the Ohio Players's "Love Rollercoaster" song was playing. I stopped it in mid-traffic on the Verrazano bridge of all places. Turned up the volume way, way up. Got out of the car and started dancing on top of my hood, I kid you not. You could not believe the reactions of other people! They were screaming yet I had such a blast. ---- Q: I am not sure if I understand why this is positive. A: ----- You just have to act silly once in a while; preferably all the time - I am a silly goose albeit without white feathers and yet I still manage to feel fantastic". Q: so any final word of advice? ----- A: Whatever floats your boat man; relax; you should always be on island time!
