The splash shield under my from wheel was falling apart due to loss of screws. I went to Ford but four screws cost more than $12 dollars, not including bolt nut clips. I found this screw set and it exactly is what I need. It fits my ford escape with good quality, and now my vehicle is ready to go!

This is a great product, except for the plastic inserts. They worked just fine however, I had to replace these because my local oil change place had stripped out a lot of my undercarriage sound barrier screws. So these replacements worry me because they certainly will strip these out as well. I wish there was a metal option.

I like the fact it had possibly all the clips i needed to install my wheelwell splash shields. However the red plastic clips are different size to the holes in the tabs attached to the wheelwell lip. I did use the metal tabs to secure the top part of the shield. Most of the clips are plastic and had to look more into what was the correct ones. I tried using these on my 2004 Toyota matrix. I will use whatever is leftover for my inventory for future use.

The only issue I had was the quantity for my application. I had to order another set so I could replace all the fasteners. These plastic inserts get wore out over time from removal of bottom engine cover during oil changes and if you have the dealer do your oil changes they don’t always install all the screws or don’t tighten them all the way and you end up with the cover flapping around when you drive
