140/120 Diskus Hasp & Staple

I installed this staple and hasp to my wooden garage door and combined it with my 24lb/60 diskus padlock. The padlock fits perfectly and snug. The shackle is completely hidden away and protected from being attacked.I did have to modify the inside of the garage door so that the hasp and staple were secured to something solid and not just a thin panel. I just added a bit of 2x4 to the back of the door to screw into. Wasn't a problem and will hopefully make it more difficult for someone trying to rip or smash the lock off.I have used long decking screws to fix the staple and hasp to the door. The screws provided weren't long enough for my liking.I feel confident in this lock, it does feel quite sturdy and was a decent price. I have three locks on my garage now and this has made it even more secure and will hopefully deter people from having a go. All I need now is a shotgun and an assault rifle.

Well designed and very strong. It's not going to rust until 2049. Well worth the cost.

very tight fit when used with Diskus padlock. The hasp has to close completely over the staple for the diskus padlock to fit. That is easier said than done on a shed! That said very sucure and strong

I have used these on my out buildings. They are well made and hide the screws, so offer great security. I believe they are worth the extra cost compared to locking bolts. You need to purchase a disc lock to get the full security benefits.I fitted my locks within less than five minutes. Really simple to fit.

This is a well designed hasp and staple protecting the lock ( discus lock ) however it was far too short for the application intended and would have not made a secure installation.Unfortunately I had to return it.

Really solid and comes with bolts, not just screws and a reinforcement plate for inside (needed for thin doors) Use it with a matching disc padlock.

Hasp itself is one sturdy strong item although the supplied bolts & screws in my opinion should be stainless steel. I have used stainless steel bolts bought elsewhere. Overall very pleased with the sense of near total security my steel shed now has. Also bought the Abus plus diskus 20/70 padlock to add even more security.

Very good worth money pamper proof.

Quality abus hasp meant for disc lock. Can’t go wrong with abus even if you have to wait a few weeks for it be shipped from Germany
