Best trainer for a beginner - VERY tough
I have been trying to learn how to fly RC planes for a while, and have always had issues with letting my anxiety take over, which ends up in a crash of course. I got tired of fixing the larger planes just to break them again. I know...real flight trainer exists but I don't have it yet. So I thought I would take a shot at this little plane. Let me say, this thing is fantastic. The pictures attached are after numerous belly landings, nose dive crashes, hitting the fence twice and my brother hit a power line with it. There's barely a scratch on this thing. For $100 this is absolutely worth the money. I'm not sure how the other reviewers are breaking the propeller...this is the original one. It pops off and snaps right back on without a hitch. I did lose a landing wheel when my brother hit the power line...must have launched it to the moon or something because I can't find it. But it really doesn't need it anyway. For beginners like me, this plane is better than any of the large trainers. It has a gyro that keeps it steady when you have it on beginner mode and it's still just twitchy enough to make you have to control it during flight. It's small enough that you don't need a warehouse to have more than one (I'm buying the Messerschmitt after I finish this review). Bottom line, if you're a beginner, BUY THIS not the 48" wingspan trainers that promise to be level 1. They aren't. Get your crashing and slow flights/landing figured out with this little guy and then get a larger trainer. You'll feel more confident and have a LOT more fun instead of feeling bad about crashing a $300+ plane that you have to tape or glue back together after every flight. This thing is basically indestructible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This thing is great!
The best Rc airplane everrrrr!!!, took it to a park and flew it and I was definitely surprised, I also crashed into a tree but I went slow when I crashed into the tree and went to check on it and it still was in great shape and still worked! I definitely prefer buying this!

Extremely Light, Should Be Fun
I was shocked at how light this RC plane is, even the battery is small and light. It came assembled except for adding the under wing landing gear (the rear wheel was already installed) and the battery. The initial charge of the battery was very quick (10 minutes), so they may have been partially charged already. The plane came with two batteries, two USB A adapters to charge the batteries, two dual blade props (one was installed), two triple blade props, a spare inner prop hub, and the controller (the product page says you get five props, but mine came with only four.) The controller requires four AA batteries which you must supply. All of the control surfaces were centerlined when it arrived, but if they don't centerline you can use the trim switches on the controller or physically adjust them if that does not do what is needed. The control allows you to control the prop speed (power), rudder, ailerons, and elevators. The control also has three modes (basic, intermediate, and advanced), you have to switch to the intermediate mode to do the preprogrammed acrobatics. The basic mode will try to keep you from putting the plane into the ground, but with any RC plane - you can still crash it if you try hard enough. I can be hand launched (probably the way to go) or ground launched. The plane and battery weigh 2.2 oz. I have seen others fly this plan in some light wind, which is pretty hard to believe based on the weight, but the gyro apparently does the job. It seems to have a surprising amount of power to the propeller for such a small plane. I understand the motor can be replaced, but somehow I doubt the plane will outlast the motor in my case.

Fun for a beginner.
Loved how easy it is to fly. My first rc plane. Did a little simulator training on my phone first. Need to make certain you do a pre flight control check before each flight to insure gyros are active. For a 59 year old guys it mades me smile Iike a kid. Long flight times too. Well worth the price. Fly in a large area.

lacks in power
lack power compared to the same brand and options of rc planes out there, go with the red tail mustang for this price range

Great for first timer
This is my first RC device. Watched a few videos, read the manual and I am having a lot of fun with this plane.

Piece of Garbage
Don't buy it. Cheap Chinese garbage. Broke on the 1st flight. It's made of Styrofoam and parts are very fragile. Would not recommend at all.

Fun flying
Good plane with multiple skill level settings. The engine appears to be powerful.

Flew great out of the box! Had a few hard landings and there’s no damage. Propellers are very thin and break easy but other then that I plan to buy the different styles they offer!

Toughest thing around. We have a bunch of these little warbirds . Get some spare props and batteries because you're gonna want to fly for hours .

Really good product for the price. The shaft assembly is the weak point of these planes, after a couple Solid hits it will be either bent or malfunctionning. The default propellers will also not last long. Because the propellers and the shaft + shipping cost about Half price of the plane, only downside is you will probably be buying another of those instead of the spare parts. But if you manage to have good runs and take care of it, they do last long you will only need to change batteries. **Good tip is to had a LITTLE drop of hot glue for the propeller if it still intact but comes loose.

Really good quality for the price, flies well has a decent battery life and very scale look.

Very fragile. It is impossible to land it without significant damage especially to propellers. I think among the worst RC planes I’ve ever bought, this was the second worst.
