Quick & Easy
This is a great little book for someone interested in setting up a website through Wordpress in a very quick and easy way. The author recommends using Go Daddy for the domain name and Host Gator for the website hosting, and offers a 25% off coupon for Host Gator. I had used Go Daddy in the past, but I did a little googling to see what the alternatives were, and came to the conclusion that both of these places offered reasonable pricing and good service, so I went with them. Host Gator applied an automatic 20% discount (called 'summer'), but the discount coupon from the book did work and I got 25% off. Within a matter of a few minutes I got it all set up. The directions in the book are clear and to the point. The formatting and editing were good, as well. It's definitely worth it for someone who wants to set up a web easily and inexpensively.

Yet another great book by Mike Omar
As a new Affiliate Marketer, I was looking for a book to learn more about how to write successful blogs. I ordered Mike Omar's "How To Start A Blog That People Will Read". I found that book a very good source of information, so I decided to order all other Mike's books, including this book," How To Make A Website Or Blog Without Coding Using Wordpress". I highly recommend this book as well as all Mike's other books. The author is knowledgeable, honest and his primary goal is to pass on his knowledge and expertise to his readers, so they can create their own websites. Mike uses a clear, easy to understand and easy to follow writing style, which enables readers to create a website or write a blog in a short, yet very effective way. I follow his teachings on his website and youtube videos as well. All his books are great sources of information and reasonably priced.

Readers do judge a book by its cover
And, in this case, the cover is junky and confusing. Too many words and no focal point equals terrible design.Small lettering in a postage-size ebook cover is folly. Who can read it? Who wants to strain to read it?Use of all bold font over multiple paragraphs in the description is a turnoff and an indicator that the author/publisher can't decide what to emphasize. Crossing a word out is from amateur hour. This book and its author/publisher could benefit from clear thinking and the services of an editor and a designer.

Pretty Much The Right Basics
I've relied on Mike's input a few times in the past and he convinced me to buy and read his new ebook. WordPress is the best website platform out there and this ebook takes you through all the basic steps you need to get your site up and running. Really though this ebook's best friend is his website and you'd do best to read, watch, and do at the same time. Overall this really describes all the little weird boxes you'll notice when you make your first website and explains them in a simple understandable way so you can learn and move forward. There's always more and more and more to learn in webdesign but this really is all you need to make very presentable, professional websites. Worth the $0.99 for sure.

More about how to make money on WordPress then how to build WordPress web site
This book is more about making money from your web site than how to build a WordPress based platform. It does talk a bit about WordPress platform, but it is not what the majority of the book is about. The WordPress section has a high level discussion about setting up WordPress.org (i.e WordPress platform that does not offer free hosting). It does not have a lot screen shots and there are better books about WordPress set up and configuration. The high level overview of various methods to make passive income from your web site is educational and how to drive traffic to your web site are interesting, just not what I expected based on the title.I purchased this book in 2017. This book was written in 2015, but most of the content is still relevant in 2015.The author references a lot of supplemental material, each page in the book contains multiple links to his own website. This is a common but annoying trend for some ebooks, where the author wants to obtain the reader's email address in exchange for extra information. This means in exchange for additional information one has to put up with a lot of extra emails from the various authors where the content varies (some useful, some not useful, but all trying to sell you something else). Use a special email account when signing up for these lists to help you control the email volume.Ali Julia review

Best book on Building a Website or Blog
I have built two or three websites, but I don't pretend to know all about it. Mike's other two books were so detailed with honest to goodness how-to information that I knew I could learn more. So I purchased this book too ... How to Make a Website or Blog Without Coding using WordPress.I purchased the paperback books because I enjoy re-reading my books. It was a better learning process to watch the videos again after reading each book. I haven't finished that part yet. The videos are accessible on Mike's website, on YouTube and at Udemy. Did I mention they are free? Incredible. Well organized books, including this one, and very thorough along with the coordinating videos. And Mike shares all the details including Plugins, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the white hat variety, Widgets and more. Thank you, Mike.
