Digital Laser Photo Tachometer Gun (Non-Contact) CE

Great tachometer - works very well and nicely made. Only downside is that you only get about 15-20cm of reflective tape with it.Now I need to fund a cheap replacement for this tape although I suspect it will alst me quite along time as you don't generally need to use much.

Works well. I was surprised because you just can't tell with these generic cheap Chinese goods but I thought it worth a punt. I bought this one after buying and returning a far more expensive Fluke which was so far out of calibration it was a joke (you cannot re-calibrate it was factory only). It could easily have been a fake although the seller swears not and to be fair most sellers just wouldn't know themselves - it's a big problem with branded electronic goods these days, so be careful.I use this on several machines in my workshop now and I'm pleased I took a punt on it. My friend and I have tested this against a much more expensive (£00's) tacho and found it to be accurate to with 1-2% - good enough for me.
