This thermometer is awesome! It measures the temperature pretty fast and it seems to be pretty accurate. It came in a nice pouch that is shown in the pictures which is perfect for protecting it.So if you keep the cap on, the device thinks you are using it on the forehead and if you take the cap off, the device thinks that you are taking the temperature from the ear. Personally, I think taking the temperature from the ear is more accurate but you will need an alcohol wipe to clean it after each use.Pros:1) easy to use2) fast3) hygienic4) cute pouchCons:1) it is somewhat big but it could be good for being able to grip it well so that you don’t drop it. But keep the size in mind in case you want to carry it with you for travel.I will keep using it and post another review in a couple of months.

Great design & easy to use. But it doesnt work!! The temp measurement for ear and forehead is wrong. Useless

This device is very finicky about how you hold it and where you place it. It usually reads in the low 90s if it reads at all. More often than not the screen is red because it can't get a good reading. Even when I had a fever it read something like 97. That's about the highest reading we could get off of it, ever. Furthermore it is hard to manipulate the button while holding it high up to a person's head. Gives my hand a cramp -- bad ergonomics. It is irritating when companies manufacture such useless crap and have the nerve to sell it.

Never worked right. Bought two that were both reading the same temps so I figured they were fine. I always had a feeling this thermometer was not accurate. Today was definitely the proof when my daughter felt sick, thermometer read 98 so she went to school but got a call from the nurse that her temp was 101! Came home, checked again, 98! Thankfully I never had an emergency but don’t even want to think about if she had 104/105 and it measured a lower temp! Wish I returned them right away oh well now they’re going in the trash what a waste of money.

This is a great thermometer, its accurate and easy to use. I read the entire manual and it represents everything the manual says. I carry it in my pocket and use it every day at work. Convenient three modes, allows you to take temperature by pointing towards the temple area without touching the person. It took me a while to figure out how to switch from degrees C to degrees F and vice versa. I think I didn't keep my finger on the button long enough but Great product, great price. I highly recommend this thermometer.

It worked fine for 2weeks and recently started giving low readings on everyone.Changed the batteries and that didn't help.

My husband bought this for our newborn because it was on sale. We couldn’t get it to work and the instructions on the side of the box should have been our first clue as to why they were on sale. The pictures indicated that if you wanted to do a forehead reading, place it in your ear; and to do an ear reading, place it on your forehead! Poorly made, poorly packaged, would not recommend.

This item seems to work well for measuring surface temperatures and it is nice to have it color code the displayed readings to let you know at a glance if the reading is elevated.
