Ceramic Exterior Detailer - Advanced Ceramic Coating for Superior Hydrophobic Protection & High-Gloss Shine - Shields Against UV Damage, Dirt & Water - 750ml

I think this detailer deserves a better start rating than it has. I've tested it against Meguars Ultimate Quick Detailer and Meguars Ceramic Detailer. I found that the RainX detailer is thicker and leaves a slick and slippery finish which outshines the others. It needs more liquid to cover my car than the others, which combined with the thicker liquid must m an it is leaving a thicker, more slippery and more shiny coating. All good. HOWEVER, it is no good trying to apply in the sun or if the bodywork is warm because it then dries before you can buff it to a shine. AND, it needs to be applied to small areas at a time. Summary: brilliant stuff but not the easiest to apply. Added comment: after a week, the part of my car coated with this stuff is cleaner, more shiny and more slippery to the feel. The rest of the car was coated with another Detailer. Final judgment - I shall stop using other products, stop polishing with a ceramic polish and stick with this. Only problem is it dries quickly leaving a smear which needs plenty of elbow grease to buff to a shine with a top quality soft microfibre lth. Hard work, but worth it. Final added comment: Eventually, I've achieved easiest and best results by using this product very occasionally instead of a polish. And for a quick clean to remove a light coating of dust or grime, or to provide a slick surface after a wash, I quickly wipe over with Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer using an ultra soft cloth and buff until dry with a clean cloth. The resulting surface shrugs off the dirt very well and looks good, as pic shows.

Being of the Rainex brand, I expected it would work. Unsurprisingly it is very easy to apply and works very well. One of those occasions when choosing a well known brand pays off. A quality shine with no streaks or swirls. It hasn't been on the car long enough to say if it lasts. But I would recommend it

Absolutely no different to any other wax polish, needs plenty of elbow grease. Don’t get it on the glass, just creates a mass of smears and hard work to clean it off. Better off with turtle wax then at least it allows you to apply, dry & wipe off and you get see the results, application by stages is better in my view

Have purchased before, a good quality product that does a good job!

Applied today, if it drys too hard it takes some effort to get off to a shine, praying for rain so I can see if the beading is any good. It is dusty where I live and usually by now the dust would be attached to the car permanently, however after a Rain-X application it seems to be just on the surface and easily dusted off 👍🏻

Impegnativa da lucidare dopo averla distribuita sulla carrozzeria. Possono rimanere degli aloni, ma alla fine la lucentezza è ottima.
