Great selection of drill bits. Perfect for repairing around the house and workshop. Exactly what I needed

I do quite a lot of drilling whilst sorting bits and pieces around the house. Over the years I've accumulated a collection of lots of drill bits but it can often be a bit of a nightmare trying to locate the particular one that I'm after.Therefore, a selection of drill bits such as this, which are organised within their case is actually really useful and something that I should have treated myself to ages ago, if I'm honest. These particular drill bits are generally pretty good although the durability of some of them might not be the best. If you're after a set that will last you for many years then there are probably better quality sets out there that will last longer. However, for my general DIY purposes these drill bits are plenty good enough and I hope that I won't have to buy more drill bits for a long time.It might be worth noting that these drill bits are not suitable for heat-treated or hardened steel - you'll need a different set if you're planning to do steel drilling!

⚙️ There are quite a few positives about this drill set. You do get a great deal for your money, and these are split between wood, metal, and masonry bits. There is a good spread of sizes all the way up to 10 mm, and the metal cutting bits are coated for better swarf clearing and a little more durability. All of the wood and metal cutting bits are sharp with a well-defined point. The case that they come in is nice, with a metal clasp, although many of the bits were jumbled about inside—not a big problem. The stop collars are useful occasionally, but I tend to use some tape instead.⚙️ On the negative side, although sharp, the tip grind is a little crude, with plenty of swarf still attached to the cutting surfaces. Some of the masonry bits have quite poor bonding where the tip has been attached.⚙️ These bits should be treated as consumables, and although the larger ones are worth resharpening when they become blunt, the smaller ones can just go in the bin. If this bothers you, then perhaps a better-quality set might be in order. The bits all cut acceptably, and the brad points are especially sharp. ✔️

YOKOCUT 130pc Mixed Drill Bit SetThis drill bit set was not quite what I was expecting, going by the photos on the Amazon listing this looks to be a huge box of drill bits. Although this is smaller than expected, it does hold an amazing amount of drill bits that are designed for wood, metal, and masonry.These are not the highest of quality which was only to be expecting due to the asking price. But, what these lack in quality is certainly made up in quantity. Although not of the highest quality these are more than capable for home use. What I particularly like is that there are a large quantity of each size so you can afford to break a few. I have quite a few drill bit sets where all of the commonly used sizes are missing due to breakage, this will not be the issue here as many spares are included. With all brands, it's always the smaller sizes that break, so several spares are always welcome. For example there are 20 x 2.0mm HSS drill bit, 11 x 3.0mm HSS drill bits, 11 x 4.0mm HSS drill bits, and so on.There are no big drill bits included in this set, they seem to have concentrated more on the smaller most used sizes. There are 78 HSS metal drill bits supplied in the following sizes: 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10mm. Wood drills are as follow: 4, 5, 6, 8, 10mm. With masonry bits being: 4, 5, 6, 8, 10mm. All are supplied in a nice plastic box which has a strong metal clasp holding it closed. Also in the box are 3 depth rings along with an allen key.Overall there are 134 pieces in total, which I feel is great value for money. These will obviously not last as long as higher quality, more expensive drill bits, but for most projects these will work out just fine.Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
