Years ago I bought a cheap portable tire inflator but I never liked using it. The reason I didn't like it was because the air hose had to be screwed onto the valve stem. If I didn't cinch it down tight, it would leak and take longer to inflate the tire. The worst part was trying to unscrew the hose. By the time you got the hose unscrewed from the valve stem, a lot of air had been lost. The workaround was to over inflate the tire and then hope the subsequent loss of air would bring the pressure to the normal point. This just got to be too much of a hassle. I was talking to a neighbor about this who was having a similar issue with his inflator and we bother wondered if an adapter might be available. What a pleasant surprise to not only find out they exist, but that Amazon has them at a great price! I bought a pair of them and gave one to my neighbor. Problem solved for both of us. This adapter screwed onto my inflator hose with no issues whatsoever. It was the perfect size and fit. It has now sped up the time it takes to inflate a tire because I know longer have to waste time screwing the hose onto the valve. This adapter clips securely over the valve stem and creates an airtight seal. Now I can top off my tires a lot faster. These adapters are good quality being made from solid brass. They should last a long time. I was half tempted to by a better inflator, but that would have cost a lot more than these adapters. This was a very inexpensive fix. I am very pleased with these adapters and highly recommend them to anyone having similar issues with their portable tire inflator.

I have a tire inflater that works really well when I can get it attached to the tires. For some reason the screw-on end would not go onto all the tires. So I researched what I could do to fix this and found these brass locking Tire Air Chucks. You get two of these. The result was perfect. They slide on and have a latch that seals the connection so no air comes out. Now, I have fully inflated tires. Yay! A good buy.

Great product. They worked well on my Milwaukee inflator without having to cut the factory hose. Quick connect to the valve stem when used.

Brass locking tire air chuck works great.

Just ordered these for two air pumps. I keep in my vehicles. I like the idea of quick disconnects on the valve stem. They hold air and don’t leak and are made very well. The only issue I have and the reason I did not give it. Five stars is the threaded portion that goes onto your pump. Hose seems to be a bit undersized. The diameter of the tubing that’s threaded is definitely undersized compared to a factory, threaded valve stem. On one of my pumps it would only engage in the last five threads in the very deep part of the air hose. On an older pump that I have that have seen some use. It would not even screw on. The threads would not engage as they are too small. I had to remove the O-ring from the hose part. And wrap Teflon tape on the quick disconnect to make it oversized. Seems like a little issue, but the whole concept of this screwing on to existing valve stem hoses can make it a big issue. And I’m not making a big deal out of this because it is really really undersized where it might not even work for you. Just something to think about when ordering these.

These are great on my Milwaukee M18 air compressors. Don't have to screw hose on valve stem. Nice design and speeds up the inflation time. Right size for hose and valve stems
