Pet Republic Dinner Mate Food Mat, 40 x 60 cm, Brown

I bought this mat for my dog's water bowl as he is inclined to slurp his water everywhere! it is big enough to house my dog's eating bowl as well (not that he leaves anything) so it keeps everything neat and tidy. I haven't needed to clean it yet. It was not the cheapest but is substantial and suits my kitchen decor perfectly so I am pleased with my purchase.

Looks nice. Puppy tried chewing it a bit at first but then got used to it. After receiving it I did wonder if I should have paid more for a better quality silicon mat that was wipe clean. However I will be washing this regularly so it does the job. Good size.Edit: over time water seeped through the mat onto the floor. It is not waterproof and we have a wooden floor so this was damaging to the floor. I’ve sucked it up and bought a more expensive silicon mat which hopefully should work better at protecting my floor

These mats are brilliant for stopping water going onto the floor when your dog is drinking. They also catch any food bits that drop which can then be brushed off. The rubber backing keeps bowls in one place. I already have a couple of them but bought another to ring the changes. They wash well in the machine and dry quickly, I pop mine on the radiator if weather means I can't line dry. Wouldn't be without them now.

We have two of these, one for each Basset Hound. They are just the right size to hold a large water bowl and food bowl and catches (most of) the slobber. Easily washed in the machine and dries really quickly. I coudn't ask for more!

excellent. just what i needed for my messy cat. all i do is get my long handled dustpan and brush and sweep all the food up . theres no stains on it (yet) . but its so easy to clean .i just use carpet stain remover.to freshen it up . ( from what ive read i wont bother putting it in washing machine) still the best mat I've ever bought .looks nice as well .

This mat is ideal for two cats' dishes, i.e. enough dishes for two cats; we bought two of the Catit double diner bowls (which are brilliant) and they fit without hanging over the edge. I can easily sweep up any dropped food, wet or dry, or just give it a shake outside and it looks like new. I haven't had to wash it yet as we've only had it for 3 weeks, but have every confidence in it and am very happy I didn't buy the more traditional plastic/vinyl type mat we've had in the past. Oh, it doesn't slip or ‘walk' either.I suppose in an ideal world I'd have liked it just a tad wider, but I think it's nearly perfect.

An excellent and quite large place mat for your cat or dog. No spills over the side. Easy to wipe. Highly recommended by my cat.

I saw this on Achica and bought it here (free delivery with prime) and similar price. Great purchase if I say so myself. We have two cats and little Bella always washes her hands before drinking (moving the water bowl/dispenser) in the process. Half the kitchen used to be wet, but now the mat prevents her from dragging the dispenser too far and when she washes her paws it's on the mat. Super! Only wished I'd found it earlier. Highly recommend it. Had it now for a good few weeks. Not washed it yet, I just vacuum it.
