Cyprus Hand Blown Glass Double Walled Mug

This is a lovely glass mug. Stylish yet very functional. Holds a decent amount of coffee and the outside stays cool even when the contents are boiling ( which is a con as well as a pro !). THis is the second I have bought: the first one only lasted 2 weeks as although robust, when I dropped in into the washing up bowl ( which is plastic), by accident, it broke. So take care when washing up - as it is very slippery, being such a smooth finish. Right - off for a large vanilla latte to give it another testing : )

I bought both this mug and one of the 'Keep Calm' double skinned ceramic mugs. We had a 'shoot out' and the results:1. Insulation: The Grosche wins hands down despite not having a lid it keeps your drink warm for significantly longer, in fact I'm not convinced that the 'Keep Calm' mug insulates that much better than a standard mug.2. Capacity: if you like a big drink, the Grosche holds noticeably more liquid3. Weight: this is personal preference, the Grosche is amazingly light but does not feel fragile (haven't dropped it yet!); the 'Keep calm' is quite weighty and feels robust4. Aesthetics: The 'Keep Calm' is a lovely design and exudes quality; the Grosche isn't as pleasing on the eye but is well made5. Maintenance: both mugs are fine in the dishwasher

I have been looking for a large sized glass mug for ages. All the others ?I have seen are fairly small and I prefer a larger size.This is a great mug, looks fabulous and keeps drinks lovely and hot.Whilst it is light in weight it desn;t feel overly precious. Has a good sized handle and easy to grip.All in all a great product and exactly what I was lookng for.

I chose this mug because I was looking for a nice big mug for my tea. I love glass mugs and felt this might be what I was looking for - and it was. The mugs seem thin and fragile at first, but I do like them as they keep the tea hotter than other mugs and are nice to 'hug' in your hands. Also, being glass and dishwasher safe,will always wash up nicely, and go with any decor. I bought 2 and will probably buy another 4 :)

what a superb vessel, I purchased this item as a coffee mug (what a mistake) i poured a bottle of beer into it and it kept it cool for an hour.Great worth the money ++++plus.

What a lovely large coffee cup.Has great insulation from the double wall.It holds 2 small sized cups of coffee so I double up on coffee.Can not fault it at all.

Bought 4 cups in May and 2 have developed small holes at the bottom other layer, next to the grosche word. The remaining two look like going the same way. Have no way of returning or contacting seller?

These Mugs are incredibly light for the capacity, the handle is easy to hold, I dont think they hold the heat as long as china or earthenware. There is no heat coming through to the outside. I love mine.

I was worried it would be too flimsy but this is a great quality cup. The handle is super convenient and easy to hold. The cup looks pretty and keeps the hot tea well insulated. Really nice gift idea for someone that loves teas!

Bought these as old people need lighter weight cups (especially when full). They are a perfect size to steam the milk on two different espresso machines. They hold the heat well considering the surface area and they are a perfect ice. The handle takes 3 of my fingers and allows for a good grip. They are also stable on a surface. They go through the dishwasher and come out sparkly clean. I’ve ordered two more and may eventually replace most of my ceramic mugs.

Bellissima da vedere e tiene il caldo a lungo! È diventata subito la mia tazza preferita.

Es genial, ahora cojo la taza y no me quemo por el doble vidrio que tiene, entonces me quemo la lengua directamente si me empano. Recomiendo.

Die Tasse ist echt super. Das Glas wird selbst bei kochendem Wasser nur so warm, dass man es noch gut anfassen kann. Auch die Größe hat sehr überzeugt. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
