A very fun resource to spark an interest in the arts. Designs are super easy to learn and copy. And now my daughter has taken off in her creativity and adds even more detailed content to the simple drawings this book has.

I immediately liked the cover of the book since it features plenty of fully or partially drawn subjects as to entice the child. Heck! I'm a grandma and started drawing right away. Now, I have it all wrapped up to share with its intended recipient when I see her tomorrow; my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. I am sure this will encourage much table talk as she and her friends or she and her dad begin to draw lively animals, bugs, and marine life. Definitely worth the purchase. Oh, I also purchased a Bostich compact desktop electric/rechargeable pencil sharpener from Amazon as I am sure the budding artist will be going through many a pencil point.

Highly recommend this book for any young kids who want to learn to draw the easy things. Has step by step instructions and blank pages to use in the book. Fun activity for kids whi are invested in drawing.

Got for my sons 6th birthday as he is an avid artist, and he loves the book. However, some drawings he struggles because either there are too many lines added in one step, or it is hard to see what they added. There are no written instructions (which is fine), but the new lines added don't pop enough on many drawings so he misses parts or details. Would be nice if they were a different color or there was some other way to call attention to them. Some drawings are very simple, whereas some are so complex it is quite a challenge. I think it is good to grow little artists by giving them really hard things, too. He loves drawing on separate pieces of paper and in the book, and I think he will get a lot of use out of it.

My kids love this book. They love following the steps to create their own drawing. One of my kids doesn't really like to draw so I decided to get this for them and their drawing skills have definitely improved.

Wow. My 6 year old has been losing confidence trying to figure out how to draw things. A lot of books have been too hard for her to understand/follow to learn how to draw. This is super easy. Simple enough for anyone and makes it so fun when she can accomplish it and draws so many new things! Truly such a great book. Has a tracing page and a place to draw after it shows you how to do it so you don’t even need you new paper. It was also the least expensive option I saw for all the books. So that just makes it a lot better
