I LOVE this stand, very good product. I had actually done a decent bit of research and ordered a handful of different kinds/styles of book/computer stands. This one was the winner! I've had this one for many months now, I use it a lot and for multiple reasons, and I must say it's very functional and has held up perfectly. Plus, it's a well done visually appealing design too! First, all the functional aspects are good. -- It's a good, middle of the road weight, not too heavy and not too light--so it's sturdy but easy to move around. -- The base works great; It sits nicely on surfaces and evenly {if it's not for you, just check and play around with metal bar tightness on all ends to tweak it} has sturdy oval rubber feet so doesn't slide around on you either. Plus I like size, shape, and color/material and the slight curved ridge along edges and a pen holder area! -- This has good flexibility; the two metal bars/hinges are very adjustable and move all the way up and down, can be tightened/un-tightened and balanced at the top and bottom, move to many angles and heights--be sure to figure out how tight you like it's ability to move for everyday use, some may like it very rigid or loose, I like it in the middle. -- It can fold all the way down and flat too! Helpful when you need it or want to put it up. -- Love the clear, thick plastic platform, good size, weight, durability, and the size of the ridge to put books/devices on is great. Tilts and bends to all sorts of angles, very multipurpose. The book/device ledge is a great size too, has fit and held books/notebooks etc of many sizes and types, even bigger and/or thicker. Plus, perfect thickness when sitting laptop on it in more flat and angled position. --It also has two small white metal arms you can use to hold a book in place, these are flexible too--can pull out for thicker books and can swivel all the way around {360} so you can put them anywhere. --It fits my 13" MacBook Air laptop perfectly with a little room to spare {TIP: check real dimensions on where your computer will actually sit on the platform--the other stands I tried gave measurements of how wide & tall platform was BUT didn't subtract dimensions of ledge area out of it so the computer would not fit, even if they claimed it would--THIS product DID give correct dimensions and DID fit what it said it would.} -- {A TIP:} When using with laptops, play around very carefully at first with the angles, weight, counterweight, and tightness of the book stand compared to where you like your device on it and how high you like it too (and when it's open and in use(--you have to keep tweaking it to balance it so it won't tip over! There's some sweet spots for this, once you find them and figure that out, you'll have no issues and will work like a charm. I had another set of hands to help at first so there were no accidental drops! Overall It's just a really great multipurpose functional design that's easy to use, stays in good shape, simple to clean, and it is good quality and durable. And I love the look of it, will work with any design style you may like, has great finishes. It also looks good just sitting out even when nothing is on it and even though it's a perfect size and large enough, it doesn't seem to visually take up too much space, the clear platform really helps with that, which I love. I definitely recommend!

This is a fabulous accessory for just about any type of book or iPad-type device. It has streamlined my desktop and it’s adjustable features make the functionality A+++ I love the streamlined design, as well as the sturdiness and portability! Definitely recommend!!!

This book stand is amazing. How did I live without it 🤣 Thank you to all who answered my questions enabling me to take a chance with this. I am glad that I purchased it thus far, since it has only been a few days of use. So I cannot speak to durability. But, to start, the packaging itself impressed me. The product was boxed and protected efficiently, instructions were somewhat clear, though the pictures could be improved for clarity. However, the setup was easy. Also, adjustment was easy once I figured out where to remove the rubber protectors that covered the screws into which you inserted the adjustment tool. In retrospective, this hidden screw area is a great idea, but it did take me a few minutes to figure it out. I adjusted the unit to its fullest extent as shown in the pic that I have added to this review. I also adjusted the clear book holder to a just the right slant to keep books and my phone in place and not falling over. I tried several books, including a large bible and this stand holds it securely when it is divided half/half. It was challenged a bit when one side was at full capacity. But it still held the book, though the fuller side did not allow proper use of the book clip. Also, I had to make sure to not put too much pressure in trying to fasten the clip since the stand tended to want to topple with the pressure of trying to clip a large book. The stand IS very sturdy but for heavier books, please hold onto the bottom stand as you arrange the book. I will also try to find a book clip that I can use at the top of my bible to keep the pages flat and readable. I also love the stand where I keep my glasses. Also, to help with questions that I had before my purchase, my kitchen counter stands at 3 ft above flooring. With this stand, my books are almost at eye level since I am about 5ft tall. So, for those of us vertically challenged, this stand is great for us. No neck cricks. Overall, this is a great purchase.

My absolute favorite school purchase so far. I use this daily. It’s sturdy, great quality, adjusts easily, and it’s so much easier than reading from the desk. I added a book light and it’s been a game changer. I would definitely buy this again, but I won’t need to buy a new one anytime soon. 100/10. Students, this is it!!!

This is an amazing book stand. I bought it to put my weekly planner (size 8x10) on it and to also still have space on my side table to put papers, and other materials I need out. Some of the reviews mentioned the lip not holding a thick-ish book and while the lip could be bigger, this holds my large planner just fine. I am not even using the arms that come with it - though even those are aesthetically pleasing. The base is a gorgeous color with a spot for a pen but I keep my working notebook there so all my materials are finally in one place. It is both attractive and functional all in one. I really like that you can elevate it to various heights too.

I have bought 3 of these...they are so good and sturdy...my husband has 2 and I have one and we use them all the time...no more kinked neck from reading off our desks...and they are adjustable...we love them

Well-made and elegant, it does a great job of elevating books to eye level. It is sturdy and not at all cheap. Quality materials and build. Frankly shocking given the price point! I have one issue, though, that makes it unusable for many of my books: the book tray is far too shallow for textbooks, bibles or other books greater than 1.25”. I know there are pictures of thicker books in the reviews, but they all show the books open near the middle of the book. But when you first start the book, ALL of the pages are on one side, and the clip on the right can’t get over the book. Ditto when you get to the end of a book.

It arrived with the acrylic scratched. Feels cheap.

It’s a perfect item to enhance the quality of my reading life. The quality is great, and since it’s made of wood instead of plastic or metal, it has such a cozy, aesthetic vibe.

A game changer for me and I live with arthritis in my neck. It is sturdy and holds a 5 pound bible.

This is a game changer! I have been struggling with neck pain since 2018 and currently finishing my bachelor’s degree. I needed something to ease things up a bit for my neck . My textbook is of medium thickness and this does the job perfectly and it’s very sturdy and looks very nice. It was also very well package.
