Lightweight & strong
Nice and lightweight to transport & move around, while having a good height it can reach & take a fair bit of weight on top (with a sandbag for safety of course!) Use it regularly to hold a boom pole for recording interviews. Able to take the weight of a fully extended 16ft pole without any concerns of breaking or falling.

Serves the purpose
This is my very first light stand, and I am glad I got it from Neewer. I think I am gradually building a loyal relationship with the brand, as it has always serve the purpose. It is very lightweight and easy to assemble with the whole set I got. It is also very steady, and I left it standing for over a month, and it only moves when I move it.

Does a good job...
I use this Neewer light stand with the Neewer CB60B 70W constant light attached. I use them in the 12x12x8ft space I use for table top pack shots and still life photography. It is heavier than I expected which is very good, has excellent spring dampers, feels stable with a light and softbox attached. I will reserve judgement on the durability of plasticky feeling material used on the twist locks. Otherwise, a good four stars for price and might get five after a year's usage.

Neewer® PRO 9 Feet / 260cm Heavy Duty set of two
well, that is why I love the reviews system, I could not tell from the picture if this as good as it seamed, but after reading the reviews and asking for details, I went for it and I can tell you that indeed this is a good buy, well made, sturdy and great value, arrived well packed and very fast. It's almost entirely made of metal (expect for those plastic butterfly shaped knobs that tighten the screws) there are rivets as opposed to nuts and bolts but these are not big issues. The whole thing feels very solid, and extends to 2.6 meters high. For the price you can't ask for more

Cheap.. but not so cheerful
You get what you pay for is the old saying and it definitely applies to these stands. cheap but not so cheerful! Positives: Tall. reasonable thickness of sections for sturdiness. Cheap Negatives: They are spring loaded, but it is a very weak spring. It will not protect your light from jarring or your hand from being pinched unless it is a feather weight strobe. I just used a mid weight Godox and small Lightbox and the spring couldn't cope!. Locking handles are flimsy plastic. I don't expect they will last long! I have learned my lesson. They seem like a bargain, but I'm guessing they will need replacing in the not too distant future.
