I purchased a different, more popular foot pedal first and had continuous problems with it dropping its connection with my PC. Very frustrating when I was trying to work! I tried multiple fixes and nothing worked, so I decided to try this one instead. It is double the price of the one I bought first, but I have had no problems with it so far and that is with very heavy daily usage. It has worked perfectly from the moment I plugged it in. I'd definitely recommend it, even though it is a bit pricey. Also it works perfectly with Express Scribe.

Excellent Purchased a second one

I recently joined an organisation as a medical transcriber and to help with this job, a foot pedal speeds things up! Very hard to find in any store, so bought on line from Amazon. Delivery was prompt and the foot pedal is working well

Easy to use, I like it

This is extremely complicated to use. I bought this for my research, and, even after spending hours, I could not figure out how to make it work. The manual inside the box only explained how to set up the pedal and connect it to the PC, but it had absolutely no information whatsoever on how to actually use the pedal for transcription (e.g., is this compatible with windows media player? Does it work with MP4 files? Does it require an extra software to function? How does one have to use it in order to transcribe audio files? Do the files need to be uploaded somewhere for this to work? - Not a single one of these questions was answered in the manual or on the company's website). I also had my department's IT team looking into this, and even they couldn't figure it out. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's looking to make their life easier. I ended up sending this back.

Bought as a replacement for use with Express Scribe. Worked straight out of the box without needing any setup. A great buy!

I didn't like the press to play and press to stop so I now have an Infinity 3 instead, (press to play, remove foot to stop) which is much more robust than this model.

Uso Express Scribe e finalmente mi sono deciso a comprare la pedaliera. Con il programma che uso (versione PRO) in men che non si dica si possono cambiare le funzioni dei pedali e l'apparecchio funziona a meraviglia. E' ben costruito e solido. Vale i soldi spesi. Adesso è un altro lavorare... (nota: uso il programma su pc con Windows 10 Pro e Office 365).

No complaints - works like it should.

I already have two VEC Infinity pedals to work with Express Scribe Pro. Needed a third, decided to try this one. It is smaller and lighter than the Infinity, not a problem for me. Pedal feels solid, operates smoothly. Satisfied with the purchase.
