Fantastic Value for Money
I love this watch. Been eyeing it for a while before pulling the trigger. I’m not one to over indulge but wanted a nice reputable watch brand to wear as my daily. This has been a true warrior for over a year and I love the design. Would recommend to anyone looking for a watch.

Love this watch
This watch is special. It is an elegant diver with a unique dial color. It is very well built, easy to operate, and has very good dimensions. My only gripe is the weight of the bracelet. I changed it to fabric and it's great! Highly recommended!

Beautiful watch
This is an absolutely beautiful watch with a gorgeous Sunburst dial. I love the fact that it's now coming with a sapphire crystal, although I wish it was domed instead of flat. The bezel action is great with no playback. The style and dial color make it appropriate for just about any setting from sports to casual to business dress and with a strap change to leather, possibly even formal wear, although not black-tie. Timing of the movement is almost perfect and measured at less than minus one second per day! The only drawback is that the bracelet does not have solid end links in the clasp is only adequate, but it's functional and looks great on the wrist especially if you have a larger wrist. I have no need to replace it other than to switch it out with a leather strap based on the outfit and occasion. I highly recommend this beautiful watch.

First Orient
I bought a blue Mako 3 as a daily work watch, and it is an amazing piece of equipment. The automatic movement is very quiet, even the self-winding rotor. The lume is pretty good, lasting most of the night. I like the color, and the 22mm bracelet gives it a look and feel of heft that you miss with some smaller sizes. Even my wife (who said "You bought another watch?") remarked the other night that it was a very nice looking piece. The movement runs about 20 seconds fast per day, but I'll give it a little time to settle in before I worry about adjusting it. It's within their stated tolerances, and I'd rather have it fast than slow. I've only once had it off my wrist long enough to have the movement run down, and their 40 hours of reserve power seems accurate. Definitely will not be my last Orient.

Beautiful, comfortable, accurate, and tough
I have a collection of watches and I always come back to this one. It is my daily driver! Very sturdy and goes well with a lot. The bezel have a great click and the movement is accurate. It will die over the weekend cause I usually wear something else or nothing, but that is expected. Would highly recommend!

Orient Mako 3 Red
The stock photo isn’t completely true to life, and it’s more attractive in person. The dial is more of a subdued brick red / dusty rose color. The bezel is mostly bronze colored with ruby red from 12 to 3. An unusual mix of colors, but they work well together. The bracelet gets a lot of criticism in online reviews, undeserved in my opinion. It’s nicely polished, substantial and classy. It’s a very nice watch that looks more expensive than it is. I expect that’s true of all the color options. Update: After a few weeks of wearing this watch, the accuracy has been really good. Mine runs about a minute or two fast PER WEEK! That’s remarkable for a self winder in this price range.

Great value
Great watch. I got into watches this year and this is my first mechanical watch and I love it for the price. Very high quality for 200 something dollars. I got the red dial 9ne great color I never see red dial watches that's why I got it. It has good lume too. Very good pick for first mechanical watch. And there are a bunch of good substitute bracelets and strap opit9ns which make this one of the best watches u can buy for 200$

Unmatched looks and performance. Dominates the sub $1k mark!
Any Orient from the Mako 3, Ray 3, or Kamasu 2 series is an incredible buy. In fact, it's baffling that brands like Seiko can still sell their low spec, overpriced desk divers when these Orients are available. This is my second Mako 3, and just as it happened with the 1st one I have to report the watch is way more beautiful in life than in pictures. The watch is pretty enough as it comes out the box, but really levels up when you add a custom bracelet from "Miltat." These bracelets range in price between $60-$90 USD. And yes, the watch is beautiful enough to warrant such upgrades. The 1st pics are featuring the factory bracelet, then with some Nato Straps, then with the Miltat bracelet I recommend, and finally, I show it next to the Kamasu 2, the Ray 3, and many other Orient watches as well for comparison. Conclusion: A watch that cost less than $300 USD, yet comes with an automatic movement with 40 hours of power reserve, 200 meters of water resistance, unidirectional bezel with 60 mins markers, and a unique look and feel. Simply put, there's nothing else like it in the market.

Nice clean looking watch. Keeps good time for a budget automatic. One thing to note, for watches in this price range the bracelet is light and feels cheap.

El famoso MAKO trapo! Excelente reloj. Ofrece más de lo que pagas por el. Luce muy bien en la muñeca. Orient es calidad sin duda. En rojo está muy bonito. Lo recomiendo sin duda. Los materiales son de excelente calidad.

Satisfied with the watch

Beautiful watch, nice smooth bezel action (uni-directional), great value at this price although these are now assembled in Thailand (Japanese movement), the spring bars are nice and chunky, and the case-back is chamfered to allow a decent pull-through strap (see pic - I took it off the bracelet).
