Does what it's supposed to!
Does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well. I use the medium (180 grit) and fine (240 grit) to keep my workshop tools looking like new. Abrasive enough to cut through light corrosion and etc but not too aggressive to leave heavy scoring which you'd expect from the same grit of Emery/ sandpaper. It wears away like a pencil rubber / eraser and at about the same rate. It can be kept straight and flat though quite easily. It's excellent for curves and profiles too as it's a bit softer than a pencil rubber. Does a good job. Recommended.

LoyBlox are back.
As M. Fallas says these are LoyBlox under another name. I've searched everywhere and at last found them. They are great for detail work as the rubber carrying the abrasive wears away to follow the contour of whatever you're renovating. They used to be, and still are, excellent for removing the "fur" from motorcycle engine casings and fork bottoms where the protective lacquer had chipped and let water and salt from the roads underneath to corrode over winter. Used to the best effect they soon wear out but there's nothing like them and they get the job done. Get all three grits and two of this fine one!

Useful tool
Smaller than I expected, but does a very good job on cleaning up metal. Can be cut into smaller chunks, very useful.

For the best finish.
Surprisingly effective - I had several walking foot sewing machine feet with a black finish I found hard to see to follow a line - but a few rubs on this block polished off the surface finish to leave bright metal and a really smooth sole. I used sewing machine oil as the lubricant , without it the block tended to stick. The block also polishes my block planes where the fingermarks tend to rust.

Loy blocks
My dad has been ranting about 'loy blocks' for years, after a little digging it turns out that these are the very things!! I bought him a couple as part of his birthday present and he was absolutely made-up; didn't bother about the other (harder to source) stuff! He assures me that they're crucial on every mans' tool kit from rubbing down cylinder heads to furniture/decorative maintenance; good job I bought 2 of everything and kept one of each for my own.
