15" MAXTITE L-Shaped Counter Top Support Bracket Set of 3 with 12 Screws in Black

…. from my recent experience buy 2 packs of 3 and hope for 3 that are perfectly formed, then return the other 3 for a refund. It’s very odd that nobody appears to sell these in the UK, clearly a business opportunity there, so we need to import them from the US. Anyway, I needed 3 brackets for a quartz kitchen island worktop for which I wanted a larger than normal overhang, so I ordered them and they were delivered well before the scheduled delivery date which was great! Less great was that one of the brackets was significantly warped, rendering it unusable, so I had to submit a return, excellent and no fuss as always with Amazon, then order another set of brackets. Unfortunately the second set of brackets took longer than expected and were actually delivered by Royal Mail a day late. Fortunately, having anticipated another quality control issue, I had not yet returned the first set of brackets, 2 of which were perfect, so when the second set arrived I would be good to go as long as at least 1 of them was perfect, which is exactly how it was; 1 perfect and 2 slightly warped but nothing like as badly as the warped one in the first pack! A US reviewer has also mentioned that they’re not perfectly formed but are easy to straighten if you have a bench vice, which I don’t, but with even reasonable quality control for such a simple item this should not be a frequent issue but clearly is.Anyway, those issues aside and thanks to Amazon’s excellent customer service, I now have my brackets fitted, my quartz island worktop installed and I’m very happy with the end result (well, 4 out of 5 stars happy with the brackets experience but 5/5 with the end result).

I got these for a quartz install. All 3 were unusable due to improper angle. They vary from 85 degrees to 87 degrees. Install was 2 days away so no time to return or order new. Found a neighbor who had a vice and we were able to bend it to 90. DO NOT BUY! Quality control is awful.

I’ve purchased these 4 times now to support the very heavy 7’ slab of super heavy 2” thick Butcherblock. The base support is very narrow so I needed supports as long & strong as possible. These fit the bill for all the times I’ve used them. Also, they’re super heavy themselves. Very solid iron. BUT, if you need your screws to be well camouflaged or countersunk these have an odd manufacturing error. The bevel is on the wrong side. You can screw your supports flush with a standard application also, I had to drill a new hole on the end to be able to fully support the countertop on both sides.

I saw options selling for 4 times the price of these brackets, but these worked perfectly to add support to my butcher block island overhang.

Used it to hold my granite against a pillar and works amazing
