Great quality.
Purchased these to mount 2 car horns on and I’m extremely happy with my purchase 😀, I may even buy more as they are really good quality!!! They are definitely stainless steel as there is a weak magnetic attraction. The stainless steel bars have rounded ends and 2 sets of 4 countersunk holes at 36mm centres with the distance between the two inner most holes being at approximately 46mm centres. Holes are 5.5mm wide, countersunk is 9mm wide and will therefore take a M5 countersunk screw or a No.10 countersunk wood screw. Bars I received were of a brushed effect which is great if you’re going to prime and paint them, at least the paint has something to hold onto, just remember to de-grease first with some white spirit or acetone ‘nail varnish remover’. The bars are 23.7mm wide and 3.97mm thick. Edges can be quite sharp so be careful, wear a pair of gloves and sand edges with some emery cloth ‘180 grit to be safe. These are made from steel not plastic and may have sharp edges which is absolutely quite normal. I have absolutely no idea how much tensile strength the bars have as I’m not able to test and the quality of the stainless steel is not stated.

Well made Stainless steel bar
The bars are exactly as described and could be used for a variety of purposes. Nicely made, pre-drilled and already countersunk which helps. Good value for money. Thank you A+++++

Solid and smart joining plates
Well made and very sturdy fixing plates; use them to reinforce a join on kitchen worktop that overhung on the breakfast bar end.

Not Straight
I bought two of these to strengthen a wooden frame that had a tendency to bow a little in the middle. Unfortunately when these arrived one had a razor sharp shard sticking out of the edge which nearly stabbed me and needed to be removed and both the plates were bowed in the same direction as the bow I was trying to fix so I had to straighten them first before they would be suitable. Other than that they are a good size and thickness. I hope they remain straight and don't just bow in the middle again.
