Recoil DI1200-4 Full-Range Class-D 4-Channel Car Audio Amplifier 2400 Watt

I'm extremely impressed with this amp. Sound quality to me is top notch. I've tested 3 different amps on my test rig. The Recoil is by far the most power per dollar and best sounding of the 3. Building a custom boom box for my mom and I'm pretty sure this beast will be the audio power source. My ONLY complaint is the amp does run fairly warm, but that is easily fixed with a computer / boat fan. I tried the 400 watt model of the popular cheap amps from Brazil. Way too much background hiss compared. I still can't believe it's smaller than my hand, yet puts out the power. Installation is a breeze of you know what you're doing. This amp does make enough power for smaller subs if you want to use it for that. It made rated plus at every ohm load according to the amp dyno. Has no issues moving the 10 in this setup.

I have this amp powering an 18” quad stack Audiopipe and 4 door speakers. Hasn’t quit. Hasn’t overheated. It’s ridiculously good, so much so that people with much more expensive equipment are left scratching their heads at how loud and clear this thing gets. 2 gauge copper wire and a bolted ground are required at 100 amp draw. This is about as big of an amp as your factory alternator is happy with. Keep your ground short, your terminals properly crimped, and your RCA cables at least a foot away from power cables and you won’t have noise you don’t want. This little amp is hitting mid 140s db on HALF its power. Ridiculous…

It’s okay it’s smaller than my old amp not sure if sound differnt don’t like the 12v connections first pic is my old amp sound db not sure if accurate UPDATE gets hot quick I only play 3 songs and super hot

Trash. I installed this amp 1200.4 2 months ago. I don’t listen to loud music have been installing for over 15 years. Turned the car on 1 day all you hear is crackling sounds coming out of the speaker then the right side stop playing then the left it was back n forth. Didn’t drive the car for another 2 weeks front speakers still crackling like bacon grease and all of a sudden I started smelling something burning it was the recoil amp the 2 fuses were not even blown keep in mind no music was ever playing when the crackling and smoke appeared. Only channels 1&2 was used at 4 ohms. Straight up trash big rms numbers on cheap az amps are for a reason flea market crap what a waste of time money and energy screw you recoil.

I have this amp powering a pair of Deaf Bonce Sylvesters and a pair of Infinity 6.5 coaxial. As some of you know, the Sylvesters are a power hungry mid range. With the specs call for those speakers around 200RMS. This Recoil is giving them sufficient wattage with out struggle. I have this amp installed in my 10th gen Accord. Its wired off a Audio Control LC7i that is tapped from the factory head unit alongside a Audiopipe monoblock for my SunDown Audio e10. On average I listen at vol level 4 or 5. Anything 7 or above and things get real loud quick. 10 or above and screws start coming loose. I have yet to play my system above 15 (maybe someday). There is a small amount of noise when there is no audio playing but thats about it. I've yet to push this amp to its full potential yet. I believe this can handle way more than I've thrown at it. I dont think you'll find a better value as far as watts/dollars go.

While this amp is screw type speaker signal inputs it is one of the best and loudest amps I've ever had in my vehicle. It never gets hot and consistently supplies the power required to push my component setup. It has blown away my old amp without any question. Much louder and crystal clear. My previous amp was a 4 channel ab amp and this class dnis killing it! Way more efficiency and multiple tests putting Recoil ahead of several other best selling amps on the market. They price their equipment fairly and they do not gouge their customers for profits. I appreciate companies like Recoil and have been supporting their brand since I reentered car audio because they have sexy amps and just work.

All the reviews are great! Pushes harder than it's rated and gets clean audio! Installed in a honda civic with 2 tweeters, 4 ds18 6.5 inch loud speakers rated at 150 rms and this thing pumps!!! Paired with 1000 watt JL audio amp and P3 subwoofer. All my highs and mids sound solid as can be. I'm using a cheap android head u it that would not power the speakers previously without massive clipping at around 15 watts a channel. No more clipping and all I get now is quality sound to all the way to max volume. The amp has filters pre installed and is perfect for a highs and mid amp. Also able to use the 3 and 4 channel with a bass filter to wire in a sub if needed. I have everything run at 4 ohms and it sounds phenomenal!! Highly recommend this amp for any application needing more power!!! Great value!!

Seems to be going great so far, running 4 300w speakers, not had any distorting or pops etc good and clean. easy install with good instructions depending on requirements. No cables for the cost seems great.

I bought it over to many online reviews, haven’t plugged it yet but it seems nice and high quality
