Works for Me !
I've bought these Next Station single stack mag holders twice within the last 6 months. They are great fits for both my single stack Ruger LC 9 and little brother LCP. Excellent fit and finish on all mag carriers. Secure and discreet........just the way we like it!

Decent enough and works for me
I have love handle and couldn't find a mag holster that didn't jab the mag into my side. So, for years I simply didn't carry a back up mag until I tried these sidways holsters. My G48 mags are tight but fit perfectly and stay put no mater what I'm doing. That said, there's no way I would be able to quickly gain access to my spare mag for a tactical reload. I'd have to lift my shirt, find the ellastic tab, push it down and pull the mag out of the tight holster all with one hand. I better hope I can find cover or have ended the threat before reloading. However, at least I'm carrying a spare mag now. Other mag holsters are better but means nothing if I don't use them.

Does the job
Like all cpl daily carry trinkets. I've tried a few options to find a comfortable way to carry a spare mag. I liked my alien gear iwb carrier, but it was a bit cumbersome and got caught on stuff regularly. I use 1 of these on the tag end of my belt. Is it "high speed, low drag" no, but it's comfortable enough I actually carry my spare mag.For reference the belt is a Kore ratchet, mag is a promag extended (10rnd) for the ruger ec9s (lc9, lc9s)
