We absolutely love this Kernel Season’s Nacho Cheddar popcorn seasoning! The flavor is bold, cheesy, and delicious without being too salty. It turns plain popped popcorn into a snack that tastes like it came from the theater or snack aisle. The seasoning is easy to sprinkle evenly, and just a little goes a long way — one pack lasts through multiple movie nights. I love my air popped popcorn and have developed a system which works very well for me. Also from Amazon, I buy a 1 gallon container of popping oil which will easily last a year or two. I have a "Misto" device that will spray this popping oil onto my popcorn when done so that I can get just the right amount of oil. Enough to catch the popcorn seasoning (it won't stick to the popcorn unless there is something to stick to) but not so much that it adds a whole lot of calories. During the winter, the Misto can get clogged arteries so I actually put the little spray can in my catch bowl so the hot air and popcorn is warming up the spray bottle. After the popcorn is popped, spray the popcorn with the popping oil (spray the top and jiggle the bowl to expose another layer of popcorn) spray some more repeat about four or five times. Now apply the popcorn seasoning put the top on your popcorn bowl and shake. This is a system that I heavy ball over some period of time and it works perfectly and creates great tasting popcorn without a whole lot of oil so I like to think it's also good for people who need to watch their calories.

This is the only cheese seasoning I use for our popcorn. Everyone in my family loves it and they will not settle for anything else. It is so tasty, and to purchase it on Amazon is way better than going anywhere else. They last for a long while and are always delicious!

Very good cheese salt for popcorn

I purchased this because I'm trying to get out of the habit of using real butter on my popcorn. I was going to purchase the butter flavor but wanted to try nacho cheese because it sounded like a stronger flavor. I've used this 5 or 6 times now and I really like it. I also add nutritional yeast for added nutrition but this seasoning makes my popcorn taste delicious and unhealthy (even though the seasoning is low-calorie). You will have to use something to make it stick to the popcorn (I've been using cooking spray-not the greatest). The one drawback for me is that it tastes very salty. The saltiness might be a positive for some people who add a ton of salt to popcorn anyway but I wish it was just a little less salty. I will probably try the other flavors at some point too.
