Not a real pashmina, but pretty nice!
"Pashmina" is made specifically from Changthangi goat wool, sometimes with silk blended in. This cotton scarf is soft, light, and pretty (I got the light grey) and I will definitely wear it, but the texture is more like a linen, not what I'd associate with a pashmina. It's very thin/lightweight, and would be a nice accessory for a summer wedding or just warm weather events.As another note, washing instructions are not included on the scarf itself (understandable), nor anywhere on the packaging, not even on the paper band that directly holds the scarf inside the small box. Adding washing instructions to the band or box would be super helpful to anyone who is given the scarf as a gift, rather than buying for themselves.

This was a disappointment. The main photo shows 5 shawls and mentions bulk and the description makes it sound like this is a multi pack, but it only came with one! At this price and quality, I expect more. The shawl itself is fine. It's thin, but soft, and already had a few small thread pulls, but nothing crazy. The idea of using these for my winter wedding was great, but not at $8 per shawl. The quality was fine, but the description and photos should change to accurately represent what you're getting.
