Simple installation with just three wires to connect to the internal connection block. Seems sturdy and well made, working perfectly at the moment. Great to have a sensitivity dial which when set low will pick up body movement but not plants moving in the wind (before this replacement my lights were going on and off all night on a windy night) Also has a lux dial to set light level at which it will switch lights on and a time dial so lights will stay on anywhere from 10 secs to 7 mins.

A neat looking pir sensor in grey. Seems well enough made for the reasonable price of £8.95. Used this to replace the original inbuilt pir in our outdoor lights, so was able to avoid throwing the whole light unit into landfill for the sake of failed electronics. Simple and well explained 3 wire connection. Fairly clear controls for Lux, Duration settings. This unit also has a helpful sensitivity adjustment which could help with false trigger issues. This might save lights going on and off at night due to minor movement issues. We hope that the unit is durable, but one can only tell with time, but if it functions for 5-10 years as the last ones have, at the price it would seem an ok buy

My second one - the first had its plastic lens penetrated - not by water but bird beaks looking from grubs :-( This replacement seems to have a silicone bead 9not a gasket) on the edging of the lens as it meets the plastic mount. Hopefully no water ingress for me. If, like me, you only need the sensor replacing then you can feed the new sensor wites up through the mounting.

This item is reasonably well made if not particularly attractive. So far it does the job ok and glad to see there is a sensitive adjustment. the main grip is the single grommet for cable entry . That is the problem , only a single hole entry and Duh ! there are two cables required to be connected . One for the supply and one for the load. Virtually impossible to pass both cables through the grommet and even if you succeed the seal on the grommet is compromised. Do these manufacturers actually try to connect their product .?…? I drilled two holes in the back and used a sealer to make it weather proof. On the plus side the product is very inexpensive so probably good value.

A little larger than the original unit but no real issues experienced in fitting said unit. The area & distance covered ideal for my requirements

Seems fine,takes a while to set up sensitivity but working ok. 1 inlet hole seems strange as there’s a lot of wires to fit in but I drilled another 1 in as there is space,

Habe mir den Bewegungsmelder für einen Treppenaufgang (mit unterschiedlichen Reichweiten 2-8 Meter bei der Erkennung) bestellt. Nachdem ich den Melder an der richtigen Position montiert und einige Einstellungen (vorgenommene Einstellungen: Zeitdauer, Lichtverhältnisse/LUX) habe, funktioniert das Gerät einwandfrei. Für diesen recht günstigen Preis war ich anfangs sehr skeptisch ob er so funktioniert wie ich es für meine Verhältnisse brauche. Mittlerweile ist das Gerät sei 3 Wochen in Betrieb und funktioniert tadellos. Ich hoffe das er dieses auch die nächsten Jahre macht. Von mir gibt es deshalb 5 Sterne.

Lo compré con dudas pero lo tengo instalado en mi garaje y funciona de maravilla. Me costó un par de días ajustar la detección de movimiento y el tiempo que están las luces encendidas porque tenia que esperar a que fuese de noche. Bueno, el tiempo de encendido lo ajusté de dia, simplemente puse a cero la sensibilidad nocturna y ajuste poco a poco el tiempo de encendido
