This is a great Bible study work book! It helps remind me that im doing the best I can and that with God I can keep pushing through even in hard times. It is a great Bible study to help grow your relationship with God and your kids. I would definitely recommend to any of my mom friends at anytime/point in their life.

This Bible study book for moms is exactly what my heart needed! It’s full of practical wisdom, encouraging scripture, and relatable reflections for the busy and often overwhelming seasons of motherhood. I love how it points me back to God’s truth and reminds me of my purpose—not just as a mom, but as a daughter of the King. Highly recommend for any mom wanting to grow in her faith!

Great gift for a mom friend from church!

This companion to the amazing book by Heidi St. John, "Becoming MomStrong" is thick!!! I don't just mean page numbers - this bible study is the meat and potatoes of applying God's simple truths to the every day lives of women. This book is all about growing deeper roots in scripture and growing closer to the God who loves us. It's liberating without corrupting truth and it's a gentle challenge to the uniquely designed female heart. I've enjoyed other studies by Beth Moore - this study, in comparison, is more specifically applied to woman who have influence in the life of a child. I've read many parenting books that American Christian culture has produced and honestly - none are more life giving. None are as rooted in Scripture. I've never read a Christian book that puts such a great emphasis on developing your own unique walk with God rather than trying to apply someone else's formula to your unique home and family. No more cookie cutter parenting - discover what truths God wants to speak to your life and your family...because no other book can do that - only God can and Heidi's book and Bible study gently holds the hand of the reader and leads them to the Life giving well. Heidi also isn't turning the mole hills into mountains here - she has experienced truly deep hurts and has experienced God's grace and healing. This book is a testimony to what God has wrought in her life that it might bring others who hurt to a place of healing and victory.

Okay, I wanted to like this book study, but nearly every chapter I found to be remedial. If you are new to your faith, discovering biblical principles and just starting to renew the way you live, this book is great. She does a great job of relating her teachings to scripture. However, if you’re a consistent Bible student, have been going through the natural life transformation Christianity brings about, and have changed your sin habits, you will likely find this book dull like I did. I hope I don’t sound like a know it all, but the concepts in this book really are basic. There are almost two whole chapters dedicated to staying out of drama. For me it was a huge, “duh.” I do think the book was well written and there were definitely a few aha moments for me, just not enough to warrant 5 stars. 4 stars because her study and book are biblically sound. I think it would really great for moms who have just found Jesus.

This book is such a great read. No matter what stage of motherhood you're in, this book is perfect!

I recently had the privilege to read through this book as part of the launch team. It was such a blessing in my life as a mom of a three year old. With so much I could say about this book and it's sweet author, Heidi, I will leave it at this. There are many devotional books out there and many self-help books, if you will; however, this book is the first of its kind that I have read which is really a call to moms to point them back to the Word of God. It is not meant to be a devotional book. It is mean to be a battle cry to mom's that we need to be spending our devotions in the Bible! Heidi is honest, brutally honest at times, about her journey as a mom of 7 and it speaks to every mama's heart!
